“They have a great selection of clothing from dresses, jeans, active wear, purses, jewelry, etc. There is a lot of name brand boutique clothes and everything was well organized, clean and very reasonably priced. This is my new favorite spot and I really shouldn't be telling all of you about it. That's like giving up the best fishing hole, right?”
“First of all the prices are reasonable and there's plenty to choose from, furniture, household goods, lots of gently used clothing and shoes. Plus their mission is amazing! Great organization.

“I had to stay at their shelter and it was very clean, friendly, safe, and serves tasty food.
Only issue is that you have to leave at 8 am and can not return until after 4 pm. You have to take your property with you everywhere you go.”
“They have a great variety of things, found some nice things to buy the store was well kept and the staff was very friendly. I know some people say the prices are a little high but it is worth it. They do a great service to thr Tyler community, it would be Awesome if they just had a store in Henderson. It was good to see so many cars in line to donate there instead of the goodwill. “Most people here complain about “food isn’t fresh” and things of that nature but I mainly appreciate that they even have the ability to feed us, have a shelter over our heads, a bed to sleep in and all around great support from case management for housing and job offers that you won’t see listed online. It’s a great community of people who you can feel like they care and know it. I don’t care that the food isn’t fresh from the store I just appreciate that they even cook for us and am grateful for all the help they have provided for me. There’s a 90 stay limit for temporary guests but they also have a 9-12 month program for individuals who need sobriety help and offer classes and have pastors come out to preach for the reconnect women and men. I’ll be leaving on the 6th of February 2026 and I can honestly and confidently say that they helped me get back on track to stay sober, gave me a place to sleep and feed me. I will forever be grateful for their support and guidance to keep me sober and in a straight line. Thank you to all of the staff here at Salvation Army here in Tyler Texas and I wish nothing but the absolute best for all of the staff and the women, children, and men who have their assistance.❤️”
