Walkability: Close walking distance to restaurants.
Food and drinks: Everything was provided by the hotel for our family reunion. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
“This was a very nice facility and very accommodating to our needs. We stayed for a few days when the air conditioning went out in our home. We were allowed to bring our cat with us as well. If we ever have the need to stay in Tyler again we will stay here.”

“It was a difficult decision to leave this place I called home for 10years. Margi, the manager, is awesome and very attentive to our needs. She's very quick to respond and resolve issues in our apartment. Margi, along with Lonnie, Stacie and Mikayla, made our stay a very comfortable and memorable one. Kudos to all of the staff who became our friends. You are all doing a great job! See you all around.?”

“My review is just to acknowledge the lovely young chap that was working on the desk at approx 11.30pm on 09/21/2025
He was one of the nicest check in receptionists I have met in my two weeks of travelling the US. He made me feel so welcomed and accommodated when I couldn't find my booking! He figured I had actually booked the place next door unfortunately but was so obliging and charismatic. This young man deserves souch praise for his customer service, he is a credit to your hotel. It's a pity I didn't catch his name to add here.”
“We needed a place to park our trucks/trailers while we rode our motorcycles around the South, and Spring Creek was awesome! Our vehicles/trailers were locked up and secure. Thanks!!”

“Clean, quiet, and safe are all the qualities I need for an overnight stay, and this hotel easily delivered. Management was exceptionally courteous and helpful. Thank you.”
“Shannon and the ENTIRE staff at the Tyler Candlewood are the AMAZING. We do so much traveling being in the construction business and my crews are treated BEYOND excellent here. The communication that I have with this staff is top tier. We wont stay anywhere else when we are in Tyler and apparently this is a shared feeling as this hotel is always full! Thanks to you all! See you again soon! Marshal Renee Construction :)”

“Courtesy was extended to me as a hurricane evacuee. I stumbled across this paradise in the pine trees and they accepted me and my animals compassionately on a last minute notice.
This is a secret oasis for business professionals. The internal restaurant, American Grill makes it difficult to want to leave the premises. They offer a breakfast buffet with a la carte offerings. Dinner starts at 5pm and their Classic Burger was the best I've had anywhere hands down.
There is a very nice business area and superb dining/lounge area. The front patio is a private extension of the lounge in a discrete semi-circular quadrant of the front. I didn't get to check out the pool, hot tub or bike trail, but I will return.
The trim carpentry in this place from the vaulted ceilings to the baseboards, molding and chandeliers were immaculate. They have a stone parking cover which is athletically appealing. All bath linens were flawless and bed linens were clean and pristine. Electrical outlets were installed at correct elevations for the apparatuses intended to power - cell chargers, CPAP's, laptops.
The staff were all friendly and accommodating. I've stayed at many hotels in my life and this one is easily in the Top 5 in its pricepoint tier.
Recommendations: Pantry options and sundries could be expanded a bit for snacks and hygiene products. Walls are thin. Doors could use slow closing mechanisms, but maybe it's designed like this for pet safety. The beds could stand upgrades or toppers over time (Lucid, Dormeo etc.), but it's a hotel, not a luxury resort. Bring your prescription pharmaceuticals and stop complaining. You're not paying for a Hyatt Regency, Ritz Carlton or Wyndham Grande.”

“This hotel is great and the staff John and Rebecca were awesome host thank you for everything
Rooms: Rooms Where clean and beds were so comfortable and soft
Safety: There's a camera in every nook lol very safe”
“Great experience here! The rooms are clean and cozy, the beds are comfy. We were so tired the first day we didn’t get to try the breakfast, but really enjoyed it the 2nd. The front desks girls were lovely and handled some other guests causing disturbances. Great military discount…This one’s a gem.”
“The hotel was clean but the little details in the room were distracting and disappointing. A broken lamp we couldn’t turn off at night and the edging of the table top missing. My wife felt the sheets were not thoroughly dried, a common problem when we stayed here. The breakfast was also a little disappointing, especially the left over & reheated oatmeal and eggs that must have been powdered. The coffee was great.”
“Things looked very clean however there was no Do Not Disturb sign to put on the door. Also we went to breakfast on the day we were leaving and came back to get our bags and our key would not work. We had to go to the front desk to get the key re programed which was an inconvenience. Bathroom door would not stay open, we had to prop it open with a shoe. I guess for the price it was a 7 out of 10!
Walkability: Had an elevator which was great since we were on the 3rd floor.”

“I travel for work 3 weeks every month and stay in multiple hotels domestically and internationally. Been a Hilton Honor member for more than 2 decades among many other loyalty programs with other hotels.
To be honest, if it wasn’t for some of the staff and location of this hotel, I’d choose elsewhere to spend my somewhat extended stay. Christine is such a great welcoming host, very pleasant and the perfect representation of what a host should be. A very special thanks goes to Korea “hoping I spelled her name correctly”, she was super accommodating during breakfast, assisting me with what I can eat as I have a restricted dietary restrictions as well as visiting the breakfast area very early in the morning to head to work. Finally, a shout out to “Jeremy” who was able to assist opening my room door after a lock malfunction and being super polite and understanding during this ordeal.
With all the good things being said, this location is in dire need of some serious renovation “ESPECIALLY” the carpet. It’s stained and smells bad all over the place. The suites / rooms could use some refreshing. If I ever in the area, I won’t hesitate to stay there again but will contact Christine first for a better experience.
Didn’t wish to post pictures, respecting and understanding that the hotel management knows the flaws as they see it every day.
Rooms: Needs refreshing but with a bit of housekeeping upkeep it could be better.
Food and drinks: Good variety and labeled selection, makes it easier for those who have dietary restrictions. The Christine Wednesday evening spread is outstanding and appreciated.”
“Very nice, comfortable, hospitable, good breakfast, good restaurants nearby.
Noteworthy details: Only complaint is the $50 deposit required. Have not experienced this before.”

“Close to UT Health. Rooms were so nice and so clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Biscuits and sausage gravy, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, eggs, turkey sausage, reg sausage links, potatoes, yogurt, juice, milk and chocolate milk, coffee and creamer, plus more! Really enjoyed our stay. No Jacuzzi but a really nice indoor pool and workout room and sauna!”
“This was a great overnight stay for only $95.00 as you can see in pics there's a shopping center adjacent and a convenience store on corner. Everything you may need is within 1 mile radius including a walmart and numerous fast food options. The place was nice and clean and the room was very accommodating having Everything needed. Including desk fridge microwave ironing board and iron, coffee pot as well. The free breakfast was great. Only complaint was the room didn't smell great. I got a non smoking room but smelled a little smokey. Overall great stay”
“Quiet & they keep the riff raff out. Friendly, helpful, & reasonably priced. Also, the biggest rooms on the Four corners...I've personally done the homework.”
“Close to everything very clean room and kind front desk. Only odd thing was it seemed like some of the pieces of furniture were missing from our room like the desk chair and recliner.”

“Great location with plenty of parking. Thank you to Anastasia, Victoria and Angel.? Professional and courteous. Some construction going on during our stay, but overall good stay. A few recommendations would be helpful to give more ? ⭐.
Rooms: Rooms were good. We did have to change as phone did not work and there was an unwanted big bug. Room change was fairly easy.
Walkability: There was a small center across the parking lot.
Food and drinks: Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Enters in the area.
Noteworthy details: Very friendly staff.”

“I've had to stay here for about a month and the staff have been very helpful and polite. There a slight language barrier but it hasn't caused any problems so far.”
“Very nice hotel and James at the front desk was very patient and helpful. Bedding was upscale, room was roomy with a mini fridge and microwave, and everything clean as a whistle.”
“Comfortable beds & very clean room & the air conditioning blows fantastic in the room I was in , the staff has a great attitude on my third stay there , I really like staying here Every chance I get , To bad I can't afford the 350 weekly rate due to high inflation, they had to go up on there prices , it's a great place to relax and no bed bugs and one more thing , I've always check my bed before I lay down and I been guaranteed bed linen , I can tell that's my dominate area experience professional cleaning . Google know how I'm coming with reviews fair & honest opinion ,if you know better do better is my motto and you want have to hear my opinion .”
“The breakfast was good, and my kids loaded up their plates.
The lady that checked us in was so nice.
There was a different lady in the morning, we went to ask her for something and she was in the middle of writing a letter of resignation. She finished, left it on the counter and left the hotel!
We waited around for someone else to come and then we checked out. Omg.
Otherwise, we had a nice stay. It’s right next door to a seafood restaurant, that offers some good food.
Our room was clean and we really didn’t have a negative experience.
Oh, the gym is small, but had enough for someone to do some good cardio or light weights. It was sufficient, not luxurious.
Pool was closed, we peeked in there and it’s very small. Like double the size of a hot tub.”

“It's not the Ritz, but comfortable, inexpensive, and it is surprising what you get for about $60. The air quality starts off not-so-good but gets better as you run the A/C. We slept well, and one of us enjoyed a simple breakfast of Raisin Bran. I will use this location from now on when visiting Tyler.
Food and drinks: Breakfast offered Corn Flakes or Raisin Bran with milk, coffee, tea, and apples our first morning.”

“The first time I tried to stay didn't work out and I haven't been refunded for it but the second time did work out so I don't know make sure you have cash for a deposit minimum $50 a person”
“This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived until we checked out, we were made to feel like VIPs. The check-in process is a breeze, and from the second you walk in you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The grounds were immaculate and decorated for the Halloween season, and the red barn is full of fun activities for the entire family.
We reserved the Sherlock Holmes suite, and it was in one single word…perfection. Each room was expertly set up and decorated, making you feel like you stepped in to 1930. Wow the suite was fully vintage, the kitchen had every possible modern appliance that you could need to make your stay feel like home., and the bathroom had every amenity you could help for from a five star resort. They even had fresh cookies each day for you to enjoy.
Bert and Becca are amazing hosts, and the breakfast they provided is over the top amazing! We can’t wait to go back!”
