“I had gone to 3 other locations this morning where I had reserved a trailer online. I get there to pick up and all they have is a utility trailer with no ramp or dolly available. I get to Hitch World and he was not only accommodating in having the correct trailer, but he came out and hooked it up with chains for safety AND made sure the lights worked after attaching it to my vehicle. I didn't have to do a thing. He was wonderful. From now on, I will check with Hitchworld for all my uhaul reservations! Thank you for being a lifesaver and so kind! “I rented a Penske truck from this location but was told I had to drive an extra 10 miles to get my truck the day before. Okay, bad experience, I thought.. but day of move in, after picking up and driving the truck from the other location for 5 miles, I ran into an issue that required returning the truck. These guys worked tirelessly to find me another truck and never once blamed me for the issue in the first truck. Friendliest people I've ever rented from and that absolutely made up for having to drive further! I don't think I'd ever go back to Uhaul!”

“I live in Houston and rode my motorcycle to Gilmer TX to visit my parents grave site. As I was heading back to Tyler to get a room for the night, I noticed the pressure on my rear tire had dropped about 5 psi. After checking in, I checked out the tire and pulled out a small nail. Tried plugging it and was unsuccessful. Called 5 motorcycle shops and they said they wouldn't work on my bike. Next step was to find a U-Haul. One just South of my motel. Tried calling before business hours. Edgar called me back (without me leaving a message). Explained my situation and he was on it. Showed up and he already made arrangements with a sister store to get the 15' truck I needed. Edgar went beyond expectations to assure things went smoothly. Certainly, a bright spot for the day. Thank you U-Haul and especially Edgar.”

“The employee handling my pickup changed my return time, which created problems for my project because I wasn't able to complete everything I needed to. If I reserve an item online and select specific pickup and return times, those times should be honored rather than changed by staff without my approval. This caused an unnecessary inconvenience and impacted my ability to finish my work.”

“We live in Garrison Tx. But I know the work Michael does, and will be out third time back. Be careful of what's posted. Some people try to do the wiring themselves, and screw it up. Then take it somewheres else and lay blame on them to get the screw up they caused fixed. There's a review below, I believe the owner tried wiring it themselves. Leslie”
