“I like H-E-B more than Walmart. Their meat selection is better and their produce is better. They have a good variety of items, including International foods and meats and cheeses. The store on Navarro has an even better selection but I live close to the one on Rio Grande so that's my go-to store”
“I used to shop here frequently years ago but I haven't been in years. I stopped in today and had a very pleasant experience. I was blown away by the prices. I had forgotten how less expensive Aldi is compared to Walmart or HEB. Also, your employee Danyelle thanked me for my polite demeanor and said I was sweet. I've been called a lot of things, but never sweet. So that really made my day. So thank you Aldi for hiring such a wonderful employee.”
“Selection is limited, but it is very convenient. Especially since it's the only grocery store nearby. But some of the young adults that check you out are not as polite as they should be for being a neighborhood store. It would not hurt them to have eye contact and smile.”

“Bought Kodi cooler from the H-E-B plus in Victoria Texas last year for my husband's birthday. We live near the beach so so we would use the cooler often. the zipper broke so we came back to Victoria to return it. Kodi is coolers have a lifetime warranty. Needless to say I did not have a receipt after a year but the ladies at the service desk were awesome. I walked out with my new cooler within 10 minutes. I wish all stores were that easy to deal with.”
“What can one say? It's a Walmart. It is clean, tidy, stocked well, with ample parking. Some other Walmarts are run down, over crowded, out of stick, with terrible parking. So in comparison...this one is a pleasure!”

The store is extremely busy and you held yourself with composure and that impressed me to the point I asked your name. I am a customer who likes to get in and get out as quickly as possible. I go in with the list and know where I’m going today we had some minor hiccups, but you quickly came to my rescue and got me out as soon as you could thank you and thank you for being a great representation of customer service at H-E-B. “Always greeted with a smile. Never have to wait long to be taken care of. And there's been a couple times where I didn't have the full amount to pay for what I was buying and the cashier's at the 236 location paid for my baby's diapers.And some food.”
“It used to be a Stripes, how ever, it has recently changed to a Snax Max, and had to grow on me, they're nice and keep the park rifraff out so more power to them!”

“Stopped in while traveling. Bathroom was clean both times I stopped in. Great for breaks and getting snacks. Had two different staff when I went in each time. the female was friendly the male was not. I had to ask him if we were done with the transaction because he just stood there looking off in the distance.”

“I've tried multiple speedy stops here in the Victoria area. They all have clean restrooms and a clean store. There always seems to be a subway attached which is nice if you like Subway sandwiches and I do. The best thing is they have diet Dr Pepper on tap which is a must. When I am in this part of the state I do look for a speedy stop. I think they're worth seeking out with their large parking lots, multiple gas pumps and diet Dr Pepper on tap that doesn't taste like water down crap. Which is also really important. If you're going to have diet Dr Pepper, make sure the syrup is turned up and at least it taste decent. I have not been disappointed in a speedy stop yet.”

“My boyfriend lost our light bill money at the south Laurent store. The DG employee BRITT is what all employers should strive to employ. I called hoping that someone was still honest and turned it in. Britt , who we call our angel, not only found it, but was excited that he and his company had the chance to return the money to it's owner!! Thanks to Britt , we will not be sitting in the dark!!! BRAVO DOLLAR GENERAL ON YOUR CHOICE TO EMPLOY BRITT!! Our family is full of gratitude and much appreciation. Give that man a raise!”
“As with any place, you're going to get a mix bag of reviews. My experience here has never been bad. I come here somewhat often to stock up on bread, milk, chips, and lunch meat to keep on hand in our office. I checked out here recently and didn't know they had a self-checkout. The employee on staff was super helpful and very cordially pointed me to the terminal where I was able to complete my purchase while they continued stocking shelves. Great place.”
“I want to thank and recognize the store manager Kelly for going above and beyond and solving my digital coupon dilemma although she was extremely busy stocking and keeping up the store she took the time to assist myself and the cashier she understood the issue and did not judge me on my budget or for using my dg app/coupons as most do she empathized with my situation and found a solution to satisfy the customers needs I visit this store frequently Kelly is an extremely hard worker and also very welcoming and friendly with all the customers that enter I will continue shopping at this location in future”
“I am new to Victoria & I love this Walmart! Several members of staff, especially an employee named Daniel, were so helpful to me. When I first got in town I had to get so many things and since I deal with a disability it’s tough for me going to the store alone and surprisingly things went really well and we’re not too difficult because everyone was so helpful.”

“I am in this store 2-7 times a week! I have built a relationship with the warm-hearted people that work there. I have never been treated bad and everyone works hard to smile even on the busiest day! It is the little things they do that make my day better Everytime I stop. One day a woman was sick in the bathroom and the two attendants allowed me to run through the store getting what I needed to care for her! I through cash on the counter and they had my change hours later when I was able to come back! They treat their customers like family!”
