“I stayed here for work and absolutely loved it. All of the staff were extremely friendly and one of the staff members let me know it was a newer hotel so the building itself was very nice and maintained. I loved my room as well. I’ve stayed at many hotels but this room in particular was very clean, roomy, and the bed was very comfortable. They also include a small breakfast spread in the morning which was nice. I read a few other reviews about safety issues sometimes considering the hotel is downtown and sometimes there’s theft, though I did not experience that at all it is still something to look at for. All together, I loved it here and will come back if I visit Waco again.”

“The rooms were clean. We were given a fair price without reservations. (Probably would have been given an even better price had we had reservations.) They offer breakfast in the morning, but they are also across the round-about from Magnolia Table. Our boys really enjoyed the pool! I really liked that there was a single brew coffee/tea maker in the room with single pod coffee and tea creamers and sweetners. Very thoughtful!”

“Stayed only one night but it was awesome. A pool table in the lobby, a patio with comfy seats, and a bunch of options for random snacks and drinks. Room was pet friendly and very clean. Highly recommend.
Noteworthy details: Plenty of things to do with walking distance food and shops. Customer service was awesome.”

“I am spending the week in Waco for work. Having never been to the area, I chose this place at random. Breakfast spread is a home run! The fitness center is decent, has an outdoor pool and hot tub. Hotel is clean, well kept and quiet at night. Room is spacious with good kitchenette. As with most hotels I stay at, the shower head and water pressure could definitely be better.”

“This place was all around awesome. The beds were pretty comfy, the space and room was awesome. My only complaint was it took me 20 mins to find coffee filters ???. We will definitely be staying here again!!!! Super easy check in, and a convenient location to almost anywhere!”

“First time staying there and definitely won’t be the last! First off, the rooms are extremely clean and neat, comfortable beds with white sheets, clean bathroom white towels, room smells so clean and fresh. Felt like I was right at home!! Staff and management were friendly and I loved that there’s someone in the office 24/7.
Also.. free breakfast! Who doesn’t love that? Thank you America’s Best in Waco, I will stay there again and again.”

“I only spent one night here and it was very comfortable. The room was clean and the staff were very heloful and pleasant. A restaurant called taqueria guadalara. The burritos were amazing! I recommend this place to all who love authentic mexican food.
Food and drinks: Taqueria guadalara is close by and serves excellent food.”

“A little out dated but clean and nice. The house cleaning staff walked in whi out knocking and we were told by the girl working the front desk to either we could deal with it or leave. Very rude. Would not give us a contact number for the manager or call a manager. Parking lot was very nasty”
“Clean rooms compared to other budget hotels.
Only complaint is that room service will go into your room, while you’re not there, and steal your alcohol if you left any in the fridge. Had to purchase a camera to stop unwanted entries into our room. On the plus side, management takes care of EVERYTHING very quickly.
Food and drinks: Handful of small stores in the area and restaurants, great food.”

Comfy bed. Lots of highway noise, but surprisingly I slept well in spite of the noise. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but none of them are walkable. The one-way frontage roads take some getting used to; make sure you know where to exit and turn. This motel was better than feared, and I would stay here again.”

“Not bad for the price, outside looks pretty run down and kind of in a scary part of town for a young first time solo traveling. Had some kind of mold or water damage on upstairs hallway area. And when it started raining water was seeping in the window and pouring onto the a/c.. not bad breakfast, definitely got what we paid for… if i traveled to waco again on a less tight budget i’d like to pick another one but if i had to go to waco again on the same budget as this time i would be fine staying here again.”
“My Husband and I would definitely choose this Motel 6 to go to anytime. The Staff were super helpful and the Husband and Wife that runs this particular Motel 6 are super nice and very accommodating in anything that we needed. If I could give 10 stars I would. They were upgrading the outside and inside of rooms while we were there, but we didn't mind it at all. We spent a week here while waiting on our new Home to be inspected. I recommend this Motel 6 Lacy-Lakeview to anyone that's looking for a quiet comfortable place to stay rather your passing through town or while on vacation here in Waco.”

“The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable beds. Spacious plan. Breakfast was your usual reconstituted eggs, microwave sausage and all. Sadly, the white bread was stale and dry — old recycled bread. A tray of dirty dishes was left overnight in the coffee area for all to see.”

“I stayed here with my family and the place was really clean and the staff was so kind. We had breakfast and it was amazing I loved it one of the ladies called Miriam was very nice and was very helpful definitely recommend their food. Staying here was a great experience !”
