“Our stay at Hotel 1928 was such a dream! I’ll never forget this trip. It was worth every penny. The hotel is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, from the restaurants, to the library, to the rooms.
There is a turndown service. We got water and cookies every night. I felt so spoiled. It’s walking distance from the Silos. Staff is so attentive and friendly.”

“The exact opposite of HIE North Waco Area (in West; it's terrible). This hotel is nice, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the walk-in shower was good, the included breakfast was great... what else can I say? I'd like a more comfortable toilet seat than the highly-angled one our bathroom had. There. Now it's a balanced review. Seriously, this is a good example of why Holiday Inn Express is our favorite chain.”

“We enjoyed our two-day stay. Usual and nice breakfast. The place was clean, but very outdated and could have a better maintenance service. The bathroom is the break point. A lot of patches to cover the problems, very old plastic door, overused shower pad, and mold stains on the sealant.
Staff was very helpful when we needed to do our past time check-in.
Nice parking area. The path lanes beside the hotel is a plus, specially for us travelling with a dog.”

The room felt dim .
Loved the shampoo, conditioner,body wash and lotion.

No coffee machine in the room but they have 24/7 coffee in the lobby. They do not have a laundry room and I didn't see any vending machines. They did have ice,work out room and game room. They also had outdoor seating. The check in /out process was easy. I liked the bed and the pillows. AC was great. Place was great and I would stay here again.”
“Very spacious and modernised rooms (2x large double beds, sofa, large desk, and plenty of space). The front desk staff are helpful and were able to assist when I asked to check-out early without any additional charges.
The breakfast is however very disappointing with even the bread and scrambled eggs leaving a lot to be desired. They do have a collection of teas/coffee.”

“I want to take this place home with us! Very clean with clean neighborhoos and campus all around, beds are like clouds! Huge shady oaks out front, sunny kitchen, a nice common BBQ grill area, quiet. We weren't here for the college but we needed at least a suite that was pet friendly. We'll be back for sure...”

“Room ac happened to not work, so kinda hot ended up returning about half the room cost,bar area closes to early 10 o'clock after driving all day and not agreeing in till 9 down there till 930 they could have made alot more 5 of us were thirsty they could have made alot more off of us”

“The reception area has a bit of a musty smell, but the rooms are ALWAYS super clean and tidy here. Rooms with a kitchenette are super handy with a small cook top, full fridge, utensils & flatware, coffee supplies, and plenty of office space to work. I've stayed here more than once & have never been disappointed.”
“First time staying there and definitely won’t be the last! First off, the rooms are extremely clean and neat, comfortable beds with white sheets, clean bathroom white towels, room smells so clean and fresh. Felt like I was right at home!! Staff and management were friendly and I loved that there’s someone in the office 24/7.
Also.. free breakfast! Who doesn’t love that? Thank you America’s Best in Waco, I will stay there again and again.”

“Room felt very clean. Beds are comfortable. It took a little while to get the room temperature down to where we like it but overall it was fine. We got there late so parking was a bit limited. Breakfast selection was a nice bread with plenty cheese from for the picky eaters and your family. Easy access off major interstate.”

“The rooms are surprisingly good very comfortable and clean has a refrigerator and a microwave. But the real prize is the employees extremely helpful and courteous and kind. Siddhi the lovely woman at the front desk who checked me in who also did my laundry was one of the best I've experienced I drive a truck for a living and I'm in a lot of hotels this is one of the better ones if I'm ever back in Waco again I'll definitely be coming back here.”
“I had a great stay at this hotel. My car broke down while driving from another state, and I was looking for something reliable. I'm happy to report there were no roaches, and the room was very clean. The staff was welcoming, and housekeeping was provided daily. For the price, the cleanliness and service are absolutely excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing good value in the area.”

“Let's start off with the good parts. The Hyatt Place Waco - South has an outstanding breakfast and for the most part has clean rooms. I love the location because I love shopping. There service has always been alright with the exception of today. The front desk attendant was put off by my hero who happens to be of service to me. She was flat rude and snotty. To the point I felt like I had to explain myself in a public setting. This is the first time it's happened to me here. He wasn't barking or growling. He's on a very short restraint so that he's by my side at all times. I'm just putting this out so that people can be aware of other people and their circumstances. Other than that this place is really cool.”

“I simply needed a place to crash for the night, and it did exactly what I needed it to do. Nothing special or extravagant, and that was fine with me.
The room was in pretty good shape overall. The only minor issue was that the handle on the sink came off, but I was able to pop it right back into place without any trouble. The shower area was decent—nothing exceptional, but also nothing I didn’t expect given the price point.
The highlight of my stay was Miranda at the front desk. She was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service from the moment I arrived. Her positive attitude made the experience much better and left a great impression.

“This is not a true 5 star hotel.... but I gave this place 5 stars for a couple of reasons. One is the room offers everything that we needed for our stay, including kitchen area and fridge. Another is you can tell that this is a working man's hotel, for the working people, that don't need super fancy, just a shower and bed. And that is great. Plus, the location is great, right of 35. It's not the super fancy, but it gives you more than what you need for a night's sleep...”

“I just attended a baby shower at this stunning venue, and I can't believe I didn't take any photos! The ambiance is vibrant and lively, with guests mingling at the bar, enjoying the welcoming atmosphere. The pool is impressively large and inviting, surrounded by incredibly comfortable lounges both inside and out. The breakfast area is spacious and bright, and I can only imagine how delightful their breakfast must be. I noticed someone cooking in the kitchen around 5 PM, which makes me think they probably offer an all-day menu filled with delicious options. Overall, it was a fantastic place to celebrate!”
