“What a fun Fort Worth delight! My boyfriend and I stumbled in here and left with three new books! The staff could not be nicer, they have a free coffee and tea station, and that warm fuzzy feeling you get, not found at typical commercialized bookshops, is found here. One of a kind spot, great staff, word to the wise- they will look closed with their tinted windows out front but they're not!”

“Really great teas, limited book selection. The barista was super knowledgeable, helpful and recommended great teas. Shop was clean and tidy. Last takeaway, the lids on the to go cups are very flimsy.”

“Don't let the exterior fool you, the inside of the Dock Book shop has a wonderful collection of books by Black authors, for Black readers (and just any reader in general who wants to diversify their reading experience). I went to a poetry reading program here (they have a stage in the book store!) and I fell in love with their collection of books, ethnic clothing and other wonderful knick knacks! Would definitely recommend to readers!”

“It's so amazing! When you walk in and just stand there, the smell of incense surrounding you and the music playing comforts you and makes you feel so at ease. The little lady behind the counter is just full of suggestions. I love it here.”

“This is a university that cares about students not only during their academic programs but also years after graduation. And, I'm not talking about requests for donations. They really do appear to care and help alum after they've graduated. My wife's the one who attended their undergraduate business program.”

“A house of books is a charming local bookshop that is located in the keller town center with convenient places to park. When I entered, I was greeted by the manager Libby who shared with me local events they have done since opening and shared that they have themed workspaces in the back that that you can rent on a daily or monthly basis. They have story readings for the kiddos and book club twice a month. The interior of the bookshop reminds me of the mid twentieth century. The interior gets plenty of natural light which adds to the charming atmosphere. The have a complimentary tea station as well as a topo Chico station. They have music playing in the background and they have a guestbook where you can leave your experience of the bookstore. They have classic and modern books, stationery, art prints, stickers, journals, pens, bookmarks etc. I ended up getting a devotional, stickers and a bookmark. The prices are reasonable. I'm grateful that this local bookshop opened in keller and I look forward to returning.”

“Nice selection (mystery). You can't beat the prices. Compared to Half Price Books the stock appears more used, but you're reading the words not eating the book.”

“Helpful staff. I got my books and there was no wait. I was in and out in 5 minutes. It took me longer to walk to the bookstore then it did to get the book and check out. I reccomend parking on the north side, so if you enter in from Marine Pkwy turn to the right and go around to the back by the water and walking trails. Park in the first 2 isles if available and follow the walk way all the way around and follow the signs for building WSTU (book store). There is a lot of construction going on and it's blocked off everywhere but if you follow the open walk way paths there are plenty of signs out to get you where you need to be as long as you know what building you need to be in. Prices at the bookstore are of course ridiculous but that is the same with all textbooks you need for school so no surprise there. Covid measures are in place at the bookstore. You are not free to get your own books you must ask a bookstore associate for assistance and they will get you what you need. See map in pics to help you navigate your way through the campus construction. ?”

“Quiet, laid out well to accommodate the new normal and a good selection of books and related items. I probably do not go there as often as I should but when I go it's always pleasant and end up losing an hour or two browsing around. Update 2024: years later I still feel the same way. Love this place.”
