They took such great care of our Cinder before she got ill and especially after her cancer diagnosis. I always felt like we were her only client. That's because of their commitment no matter what stage of life our animals are. We will always take our animals there. Thank y'all for everything.

My wife and I were in San Marcos this past weekend for our daughter's Master's graduation and boarded our 4month old Mini Bernedoodle puppy, Lincoln, with Southpaw K9 over the weekend. First nights he'd ever spent away from us, and honestly we were more worked up about it than he was.
Amy texted me first thing Saturday morning with pictures and a real update before I ever had to ask. He'd been on a walk, he ate really well, and he was happy. She told me he had a lot to say in his apartment (thats what they call their Kennels) that first night before he settled down and slept straight through. I got updates like that the whole weekend.
The part I appreciated most is that they paid attention to who he actually is. Lincoln is young and still unsure about other dogs, so instead of putting him out with the group they kept him in the puppy kennel up by the house where there's less noise and activity and he thrived !
Lincoln also got groomed while he was there (Velvet Paux was onsite!) . I was nervous a bad first grooming would create problems for us down the road, and Ryan just told me he'd make sure it didn't happen. It didn't. Lincoln came home looking fantastic and we got a report card on how he did.
Finally, we also got back into town earlier than planned and asked if we could grab him ahead of schedule. No hesitation, no hassle.
Lincoln came home happy, tired, well fed, and completely himself!!
Again, we can't recommend Southpaw K9/Ryan and Amy enough ! They were just amazing to work with, and their facility/Campus is AMAZING!!! Super excited we found a place for our puppy to grow up going to !

100 N College St #103, WaxahachieThe dessert shop if I could rate higher I would give more stars. I really enjoyed the time spent here. The peanut butter and Reese cookie has me in a CHOKEHOLD. Sweet and salty, soft, chewy and crunchy edges. I need 20 more to go. Loved every bite (that wasn't stolen by the kids) Now the cheesecake, it was the perfect balance of sweet. The cheesecake itself was not over powering or sugary and the caramel enhanced it beautifully. Sweet, creamy, just all around wonderful.
Service was great, friendly, and I love that he made went out of his way to take care of us.

We shared a pepperoni pizza and some buffalo wings. Pizza was very good, side crust was thick and the remainder had a thin crust. Plenty of flavor.
Wings were ok. Not sure if they were cooked correctly but the wings had fat on them. Usually that cooks off when you fry them.
There was one lady working that we saw. Not sure if she worked the kitchen too.
It was good to see where the beer is made in premise as there were big bats for brewing in back.
Not a bad place. I will have to take my wife there.

Food is great and super casual. Rice bowls are my favorite but you can pick your own! Highly recommend! Have been to Waxahachie and Midlothian locations and both food quality is very good!
