“I was going to lunch at Savannah Cafe and smelled the smoky smells from The Chopping Block and had to check it out. I was definitely impressed! They've got a great selection of meats, and a lot of special items. I got a boudin stuffed pork chop, and it was huge and tasty! They also carry Bellville Meat Market sausage! It's nice to know I can get that so close to home instead of making the trek to Bellville.”

“They have the best barbacoa in the area. When you buy the barbacoa, you get a bag of salsa to come with. The meat isn't overly seasoned, and it's fresh. The guy in the back of the meat market had great customer service although I could speak barley any Spanish he understood what and how much I wanted.I feel for the price you get good amount of meat.Definitely check this place out, it's worth the stop. And in the photo with the box open we already made 8 tacos so a good amount of meat was taken out.”

“I like this location because it has more variety than the smaller Michoacanas that I'm used to. The service is good here and the prices are the same as other locations. One downside that when I go there are usually people outside panhandling or soliciting donations for sketchy causes. Parking is available through the parking lot is somewhat tight.”

“Panchos is a typical mexican cuts and products meat market, if you are looking for mexican products this is one of try place, the barbacoa on Sundays is pretty good, a little bit pricey but you can't complain if you want good products.”

“This store is not as big as other michoacana I've been to but is nearby to solve my quick dinner plans. The staff is friendly and helpful; always welcoming. The place looks clean and very well organized. Even if I go for one or two items I always like to go by the isles to check out the prices and they seem fair. Since it is a small store they are not stocked as one would want but they help. I will be visiting this location more often.”

“I go in here a lot, mostly to kill time as I'm always in the area. This location is just like their other stores, They have a food counter there. l always check out the steam table before making any taco decisions. Breakfast and lunch are pretty safe times to go because the food is fresh. The meat counter has got to be the other reason people would look for this place. They always have what you need for the grill. Their marinades are popular, especially on the pork ribs and fajitas. The produce section is kept up and stocked, so if you find you need banana leaves, here you go. If you find yourself waiting on someone at Hobby airport, vgo here. I'll be there eating pan dulce drinking coffee. Happily killing time.”

“I have always received good service at this store. The meat quality could be a little better. I had really bad service if not racist a racist at the near by Deer Park Carniceria. I have always had friendly service at this store and will buy my meat from La Michoacana Meat Market over the Deer Park Carniceria.”

“La Michoacana is truly wonderful, and its vegetables and fruits are unbeatable. Their meat section is great to start with a great selection of poultry and beef products. Please note that this is a traditional Mexican store, and they do not carry items like dishwasher soap or pet food.
I must also say that the staff are invariably friendly and helpful to me
