“Absolutely love this gym. As someone who’s been going to commercial gyms for years, it feels refreshing going to a gym like Houston Athletic Club. It has all the equipment I need for whatever my goals may be; including bodybuilding, powerlifting, and now strongman. There are an abundance on accessories and tools at the gym to help with your goals. The gym never feels packed or crowded even during peak hours, allowing you and everyone else to work on what you need. I highly recommend this gym to all newcomers and veterans alike.”

“From my experience- coming at this without knowing someone who already goes here or that could help me navigate how to best enroll my child- it was a rather hard thing to do. I didn’t know you had to download an app. I would try to get in touch with some and all I could do was e-mail back and forth, which was such a hassle. Classes would show OPEN- yet wouldn’t let me enroll & all it let me do was send another email. In the end I just came down to the place of business in hopes of just figuring out what to do. Luckily, when I came in person Matt was here! He definitely helped me navigate what to do and how to enroll my kid. He even made space for her in a tumbling class that was impossible for me to do online. I was ready to give up on trying to enroll but luckily he turned my initial experience around and even gave me the date for when Cheer enrollment would begin again. Then Michell at the front made it so seamless to transition classes! I definitely recommend if you’re having trouble on your own online- just come in and talk to one of these team members! This place is so very accomplished in the field of cheer. So we will see how far she’ll go!”

“Deon is an amazing human. He truly selflessly gives his all each day. He is one man, but he positively enhances those committed to mankind themselves better. He trains myself and my daughter and I know he will my my son when older. Great, kid friendly environment. Group Workouts are timed 30 minutes, so there’s almost no excuse for not working out daily. Each person is on a different level. That’s so cool seeing in a gym. He has an amazing heart. He is serious out truly making changes In the lives of those that go to him. Don’t be intimidated- we are all sweating too much to notice. Lol I appreciate you, Deon. Not many like you!”

“This is the best Orangetheory location I’ve ever been to! Honestly, I’m not the best when it comes to working out, but the support I’ve received from this branch keeps me coming back every week. Since I started, I’ve already lost almost 15 lbs!

As a senior who previously belonged to the now-closed YMCA, I was looking for a new gym that was both low-pressure and easy to access. I found exactly that at the Planet Fitness on Eldorado Avenue.

From the moment I joined, the staff was incredibly welcoming. The gym itself is well-organized, with exercise equipment neatly arranged, and enough of the high-demand machines to go around. I've made it a habit to check the crowd meter before I go, and by visiting during off-peak hours, I've consistently found it to be a clean, excellent place to exercise. Even though most of the other patrons are much younger than me, I feel completely comfortable and at ease.”
