Gretchen, the owner, went above and beyond to make it happen for us, preparing each home with exquisite care and attention to detail. We didn’t hear a single complaint from any of our attendees! The goats were an especially big hit, and each home had its own bag of goat feed—a wonderful touch! The s’mores kits made the experience even more memorable. Happy Goat Retreat was a departure from our usual corporate event locations, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose it. Everything exceeded our expectations. “I’ve been staying at this hotel for over a month now, and I genuinely can’t say enough good things about it. This place has been more than just a place to sleep, it’s been a huge support system for me during a really important time in my life. Also one of my most challenging moments of my life. The amenities are great, especially for a hotel. The free breakfast every morning is always fresh and reliable, the gym is actually well-equipped (not just a couple of machines thrown in a room), and having access to water 24/7 in the breakfast area is such a simple but meaningful touch. But what really makes this place special is the staff. Every single person has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and consistent. Jordan in the mornings always greets you with the biggest smile and sets the tone for the whole day. Shelby in the evenings is amazing, I’ve been able to sit and have real conversations with her, and she is always so kind, helpful, and genuine. And Mrs. Bhavika, the manager, is truly one of the sweetest and most caring people I’ve ever met. You can tell she really cares about the guests and the environment she’s creating here. I absolutely LOVE this hotel and couldn’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a place that feels safe, welcoming, and genuinely supportive, this is it.”

“Beautiful view, reasonably priced, many activities for kids and adults, not crowded. The rooms were nice, spacious and had a balcony. Short driving distance to restaurants and stores if you need them but secluded enough that you're not bothered with city traffic, noise, or lights. Very relaxing.”

“Had booked a room at Motel 6 that's behind this one, after seeing the Dump motel 6 was I drove up to Palace inn and for the same price, $90.00 monday night, it had a fridge freezer, microwave, blow dryer, great ac and nice sized flat screen, if I am ever in Conroe again will stay at this well lit motel.”
