“I was pleased to find a mattress that would meet my needs that was being sold at a little greater than 50% off due to it being a floor model. However, after initially being told it would carry the same 10-year guarantee as the same brand that was not a floor model, after ringing me up I was told that it would not come with a guarantee unless I wanted to pay $99 for one.
Also, checking out took an inordinate long amount of time (almost an hour), perhaps it was due to the salesman being new, but I'm only guessing.
I would think for my inconveniences, I would have been offered a sheet set, mattress pad, or even just a pillow, but that was not the case.”

If you are thinking of getting a mattress, believe me, I've researched a lot of national name brand mattresses, and none even come close to Cantwell. Cantwell completely stands behind their product. You don't ever have to jump through hoops with them being they're right off of McCullough Ave in San Antonio and built in Corpus Christi! Most national brands now come in a box and don't even remotely last as long as these top tier mattresses from Cantwell do. Gone are the days of so many products being built locally. I'm so glad that Cantwell has stood tall in the test of times. Please, always support locally owned businesses. Let's keep Cantwell around for many years to come! Believe their slogan. “Oscar was very knowledgeable about the mattress and the differences. My wife and I have been looking to replace our king size beds with two twins to adjust our sides the way we liked. Oscar helped us understand the differences and how our current bed differs. In addition to helping us find the right twin for each, he looked up our current size bed to ensure we are not choosing the wrong twin size (twin or twin xl). “On my search for a quality mattress but with a budget in mind, I was going to go to one of the 'mega-retailers' like every one else. However, I'm glad I stopped by Factory Mattress first. Yes they have 'closeout' prices, but they are very much open for business.
I was able to get a very high-end mattress in practically new condition, at half the cost of a 'factory-new,' new one. The only difference is probably which warehouse the mattresses had sat in.
I was greeted and assisted by Bryant as I walked in, and met Steve the owner of the company as well. Both great guys, with all the information you may need about mattresses and sleep systems. Bryant was very honest with questions I had, and there was no high-pressure sales tactics that you'd likely get at the larger chains.
I would recommend to stop by and see if this local business with a long-standing history can help you save on time and costs, before going to one of the chain stores.”
