““Mac” was fantastic to help out after the pro desk had shut down for the night. She went above and beyond to help find the right part numbers to be able to sell me door casing and header materials. I had been to the store twice and called once to ask about the lumber yard hours. I had asked if I needed to order or prepay to be able to come back after 530pm with a rental truck to pick up 16’ material. I was told over the phone I did not need to preorder or prepay and that the yard was under Summer hours until 7pm.

I arrived with my rental truck and was told the desk was closed at 5pm. I explained my dilemma and Mac went to work. She walked around the yard with me to find the trim I was after. She used her detective skills to find the item numbers and helped me make my purchase. She was fantastic and went above and beyond to save the evening and prevent a second truck rental another day.

I asked the desk the next day when buying additional trim who I could speak to to tell them she was fantastic in attitude and very helpful to find the trim for me. I was told to write this review. She ought to be recognized for excellent solution and determination skills. I really appreciate her willingness and attitude.”

Is Home Depot like this every time? Should we just skip getting lagoon passes for the kids and just come get some lumber every few weeks?

From the cashiers up front being so friendly to jessica in the back helping us find a replacement for a near out of stock product and making the process of cutting wood entertaining rather than just a transaction, I’m a bit shocked at how much of a positive experience this whole trip was.

Hopefully Home Depot is taking care of these employees as great as they are taking care of customers.
