“Very poor service. They left us outside in 103
Temp for 30 minutes just for a price check on fence gates after they sent us to the wrong side of the store.This was about West Jordan store not Bountiful. Bountiful store was GREAT very good service helping me find everything I was looking for. I will drive the extra miles to gobto Bountiful instead of West Valley.”

“This is the only place I go when I have plumbing needs. They know their parts inside and out. I just show them a part that I have no idea about and they hand me the correct replacement.”

“This Ace location had the product I had been looking for for over a week! No exaggeration. Lowe’s and Home Depot champion a specific type of antifungal product called Concrobium, yet none of their locations actually carry it. So I finally called this Ace location to ask if they could stock check for me and they did! And they had it in store! So I rushed down to the store and received a greeting and excellent service. I had multiple people ask me if I needed help finding anything and there were multiple employees moving up and down the aisles asking customers if they needed help.
I really don’t receive that type of customer service anymore and I don’t witness it anywhere anymore. It seems like people are so bothered to even do their job, let alone offer assistance genuinely to customers. So I wanted to write a review about how good their customer service is and how welcomed I actually felt at this location! And on top of that, the antifungal spray that I was desperate to find, worked exceedingly well! Edit: I forgot to mention this happened on August 7th at 4PM! Thanks again!!”

“City Ace Hardware is exactly the kind of neighborhood hardware store I like to support. The location is convenient, making it easy to stop by whenever I need something for a home project. The store is well organized, and I had no trouble finding what I was looking for.

What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely willing to help. They answered my questions, pointed me in the right direction, and made the whole shopping experience quick and hassle-free.

““Mac” was fantastic to help out after the pro desk had shut down for the night. She went above and beyond to help find the right part numbers to be able to sell me door casing and header materials. I had been to the store twice and called once to ask about the lumber yard hours. I had asked if I needed to order or prepay to be able to come back after 530pm with a rental truck to pick up 16’ material. I was told over the phone I did not need to preorder or prepay and that the yard was under Summer hours until 7pm.

I arrived with my rental truck and was told the desk was closed at 5pm. I explained my dilemma and Mac went to work. She walked around the yard with me to find the trim I was after. She used her detective skills to find the item numbers and helped me make my purchase. She was fantastic and went above and beyond to save the evening and prevent a second truck rental another day.

I asked the desk the next day when buying additional trim who I could speak to to tell them she was fantastic in attitude and very helpful to find the trim for me. I was told to write this review. She ought to be recognized for excellent solution and determination skills. I really appreciate her willingness and attitude.”

“Woah. I can’t even begin to describe how great an experience we just had.

Is Home Depot like this every time? Should we just skip getting lagoon passes for the kids and just come get some lumber every few weeks?

From the cashiers up front being so friendly to jessica in the back helping us find a replacement for a near out of stock product and making the process of cutting wood entertaining rather than just a transaction, I’m a bit shocked at how much of a positive experience this whole trip was.

Hopefully Home Depot is taking care of these employees as great as they are taking care of customers.
