“Barbara helped me today with sizing information in the back and was absolutely excellent! She helped me again in the bookstore and I found her extremely knowledgeable and very friendly in approachable. I generally don't like talking to people and she was very comfortable to talk to!”

“My family came here after seeing the Ogden Christmas Villages during Christmas time. It’s an adorable shop with delicious fine chocolates, lovely books, cute toys, beautiful handmade jewelry and so much more! We loved looking at everything. I ended up buying my mom’s Christmas present there. ?”

“Eborn Books is near the JCPenney entrance of the Layton Hills Mall. I stayed in there browsing longer than I expected to but their collection is so huge and impressive! I love that they have so many vintage books in their collection. They also have vinyls, some DVDs and old coins. Such a neat place and something you don't see too much anymore. I don't know how long it's been there but I hope they stick around.”

“Found some decent stuff here. I think the shop owner needs more people to stop by regularly, but the shop is kinda outside the area where anyone would normally notice a bookstore. He wanted to chat way more than I did, but he was friendly and we had some interesting conversations. He even introduced me to an author I hadn't heard of before even though he didn't have books by the author there - I ended up finding some by that author later that day. Sounds like most of their business has moved online, but I still like bookstores like this where you never know what you'll find.”

“A real treasure! Have been trying to find a copy of Witman’s Leaves of Grass. Surprisingly, the university bookstore (Weber State) didn’t have a copy. But the issues with that are for another time.Eborn was a delightful find. I was thrilled to find a hard cover version of Walt Whitman, and another wonderful book, the Atlas Obscura.Utah isn’t always the easiest place to source alternative media, but Eborn does a great job curating a collection of interesting used books. There’s a large selection of LDS books, as expected.Allie was super helpful, very knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly! Next time we roll through Eborn will be a stop we will definitely make, simply to browse and touch base with Allie! There’s a location in Layton as well and if it’s anything like this little gem (tucked away in Newgate mall), it’s worthy of your time. The prices were spot on- perhaps it’s one of the few bargains to be found these days…Used books in Utah. Hmmm. Who’d have thought? I’m a Utah native. I’m allowed to say it.”

“B&Noble in layton is generally great. For my book club books that I need, they usually have the book or can order it to the store in a couple of days. I appreciate this and I don’t pay until I pick up the book. The staff are helpful and the check out line not very long usually. All good.”
