“Lovely store, someone at the entrance welcomed us and the children loved looking for church books and activities. They have games, snacks, LDS clothing, art and books. You can have a look online for items in store :)”

“Absolutely delightful little bookstore with a good selection of used and new books. The guy that runs it really knows his stuff and was able to make a great recommendation for me off an author who is mostly out of print just based on my interest in Jane Austen. Definitely will be coming back here”

“The store is very clean and people offered me help the second I walked in. Judy might actually be the nicest person I’ve ever met. Always happy to go back”

“I was greeted immediately upon entering, asked what help I might find useful, and guided in person accordingly. Guiding a patron rather than just pointing signals a great service model imo. To a person, staff were friendly and helpful.”

“Nice place to get a cup of coffee, escape, and remember the joy of finding a good book. In our now 100% online world, B&N reminds me of good conversations with friends while growing up, finding that hard to find Stephen King novel, and Christmas shopping. I am glad they are still around.”

“I can't lie, I came to this place because I was craving ice cream. They didn't have any. Apparently, deseret isn't the fancy way to spell dessert. However, the people were good people and the prices were good enough. I ended up buying a beautiful painting of jesus and a statue of some warrior. I left and went to Cold Stone. Delicious ice cream there.”

“I'm not Mormon but there's a good BYU Creamery ice cream shop in the back corner and an interesting collection of religious artwork to look at while eating your ice cream.”

“They didn't have the items we were looking for but the employee called to other locations and found what we were looking for and had them sent to this location.”

“This is my most favorite place to go! This place is so close to my heart, it's where I go for all of my recovery supplies and it has so much to offer. Every single person in the world should know about this store and shop here. They have EVERYTHING you need. All things to do with AA and other 12 step programs, books on codependency, divorce, co-parenting, eating disorders, and everything else under the sun you might be struggling with, and all sorts of cards that are so beautiful and unique, and coins to celebrate milestones, and beautiful decorations for your home unrest lift your spirits... I could go on and on. I love this store and I hope it never ever closes. ?”

“Stopped here to grab this gorgeous book with my Starbucks ?☕️
The store was so relaxing and quiet.
My sons enjoyed looking at the books. We even grabbed some books for our son’s upcoming birthday.”

“Wendy was amazing during our visit. We are out of state visitors and of course we wanted to do all the “touristy” things including souvenir shop for family and friends back home. We had been to a few other places in different parts in and around Salt Lake (again not too familiar on all places) and nothing compared to the service and attention we received here. The other toy shop we visited (Mochi something) didn’t even greet us the entire time we shopped around so we decided to take our business elsewhere.

Wendy on the other hand greeted us right away in a genuine and friendly manner. She made herself available to us with all our questions and she even took my 5 year old seriously and helped him.

As far as the shop goes it has a little corner of the store with toys that children can play with. For those who have children especially small ones, understand that it’s hard for them to see toy and not want to open and play with them. This small area is big enough for a few kids to play a bit while you look around and shop.

The prices are very reasonable and at different price points. They don’t mark everything up just because it’s a “touristy” spot. Making it easy to say Yes to both my kids on multiple items of their choice.

Overall I recommend this place.”

“The bookstore is amazing! There are used books in brand new condition and a lot of them! I found everything I wanted in addition to some gifts that they sell. There are some very nice gifts in there and I was pleased to get some amber on a necklace for my daughter. Everything is very reasonably priced, and the employees were very helpful.”

“This is a good SLCC campus. It's a decent size. It's not overly crowded so it's not too difficult to find a parking spot. I was in the Medical Assistant Program here. I met a lot of friends here. They do need more food options. We would go get food in between classes around lunchtime and all the food places would be closed.”

“Everytime we come here, there is an older gentleman who is working, Tony. He is incredibly kind and fun to talk to. We even played a game with him and he taught us how to play it properly. This store also offers a lot of cool and nostalgic toys.
Appreciate coming here and this man. He's great!”
