“I've been banking here for years, and never had a real problem. Sure, it can be slow at times, it's a busy bank after all, and especially with the staffing shortages ever since Covid started, but I've never had an issue here. The staff has always treated me well, and has solved the very few small issues I've had with respectful professionalism. As long as you go in expecting it to be a bit slow, you'll never be disappointed. In fact, you'll be pleasantly surprised when they're able to help you quickly. Only reason this review isn't 5 stars is the relatively frequently slow service I mentioned.”

“I applied for a SBA 7a loan through Celtic Bank and had the opportunity to work with Celcin, Ahmed, and Arika respectively throughout the process (October 2023).I focused on Celtic Bank after being spammed by most lenders that I submitted an "estimate" with (even SBA recommended lenders), and decided to go with them because they have an actual physical location and did not spam me (great signs).I have to say, they were all very helpful, kind, and patient throughout the process, and actually helped me secure a loan that was higher than what I initially applied for.At times I doubted whether I would actually be able to secure the loan, but they did not hesitate to encourage me to continue with the process and that they would let me know if something needs to be addressed.The whole process took about 3-4 weeks, with most of that time coming from me gathering all of the correct documents. “I had to deposit two ee series savings bonds. I do this each month and often I have difficulty in cashing them because the tellers have not had enough experience in processing these bonds. On Monday I was greeted immediately by a very smiling young woman which was a good sign for me as a lot of times tellers will avoid eye contact with senior citizens and I experience this often but not that day. She was very pleasant and knew exactly how to process my bonds and was very fast in giving me my receipt and telling me to have a wonderful rest of my day. She was great and sure helps me want to come to MACU to cash these bonds as I am a member of multiple credit unions and now for sure MACU for more money needs. Sorry I did not catch her name but she was fantastic!”

Since 2008. I bank in person whenever I can. My friends work at this branch. They treat me as if I belong. If there’s a line behind me they show some hustle. Otherwise they talk to me about more than just dollar signs. I live in a retirement and disability home, and I always recommend the team at this DFCU location. My husband and I own our own home, have no debt, and I work full time - about 6 years with my current employer. My credit score is in the 800's. I applied for a car loan, at Mountain America, as I was purchasing a new SUV. I was denied a car loan through this institution - or only given 1/ 2 the amount, actually. I was amazed! I then applied through the U of U credit union, which I have been a member of for only five years. They quickly approved the loan, with a reasonable interest rate. They were congenial and efficient. If there is a choice between UFirst and Mountain America, U First wins all around! .”
