“Had a great experience having my seven month old puppy spayed here. Texted for an appointment and they got back to me the next day for an appointment 2 days later. Drop off is a little chaotic in the morning but all the employees are so nice and move things along efficiently. The vet called to report surgery went well and she was in recovery. Everyone picks up at the same time so again it was busy at pick up. But again the employees were smiling and helpful and the process was smooth. Puppy is doing great! Price was so much more reasonable than our regular vet. Highly recommend.”

“My dog was touching 11 years old at the time and he blew out his knee. I visited various Vets in the valley and paid the high cost fees to get a quote and different options for my dogs knee. Every vet wanted to do the very evasive TPLO procedure. With my dog's age, that seemed very harsh. I preferred the other two methods that are available as they are not as evasive. And yes, they aren't as costly for that reason.Anyways, I took a chance with stoneridge, the vet that worked on my dogs knee was able to actually say definitively with evidence that a TPLO would have been worse for my dog. This is because my dog's knee was pretty flat already. So he actually recommended the less evasive procedure.My dog is now about 13. The procedure has been great. I wouldn't even be able to tell anything was ever wrong. This is because the vet was very proper in his assessment about not just doing the most expensive thing.The staff that also supported my dog and for follow-up care were awesome!”

“I found Dr. Perez by accident (as she was available for the appointment time we needed), and I'm so grateful! I took no time switching to her as our full-time vet. She is the best. She's brilliant, insightful, and keeps me well informed! She gives the most thorough exams, but doesn't over-prescribe or recommend any unnecessary procedures. The techs are also great with the nail trims, as we have three dogs with completely different personalities!I should also acknowledge this veterinary hospital for saving my dog's life seven years ago after he was attacked! We rushed him in because it was the closest, and they were able to get him bandaged with a drain, so we could get him safely to the emergency vet. We are forever indebted to them for their quick response!”

“We love Utah Pet Rehab! Our big fur kid developed a limp last fall. It took awhile to determine it was his shoulder. We tried rehab first at Utah Pet Rehab and they helped us determine he really did need surgery. While the experience with the surgeon has been a mixed bag, we’ve had a wonderful experience with the staff at Utah Pet Rehab! If your dog has any kind of injury I recommend going there before you make any decisions about surgery. I also highly recommend going there after any kind of orthopedic surgery as surgeons can’t always see past the OR. Physical therapy should be a part of any healing process!”

“Our Charlie pup of 11 years, who'd never had a sick day in his life, went from a typical great doggie day to an emergency in the space of about three hours. To make a long story much shorter, we rushed him here. A saint of a man (there for his own pet) rushed out to carry Charlie in...running alongside the three staff who came outside as well. They did all they could, but our Charlie didn't make it. The compassion shown to my son and I was incredible. I can't say enough good about the love and care that goes into helping our beloved furry family members. They cried alongside of us. This is a very hard business....taking care of our pets when we can't. It's hard on them as well ... especially during the holidays. “I called Dr. Monroe to see if he could help our paralyzed dog. He was out of town but he called the day after he got home and left a message and then called again. He told us he couldn't help her but gave us other options and spent a lot of time on the phone educating me on her condition and what to do. I didn't pay him a cent and he wasn't expecting anything but his compassion was so amazing to me. He works with horses but if I had a horse I would take it to him. His integrity, compassion, knowledge and care is such that I haven't seen elsewhere.”

“On Monday I had to say goodbye to my good old boy, baby Jude. The staff at Brookside Animal clinic was incredible through the whole horrific process.Jude was eleven when we rescued him from an abusive and scary life back in December of 2019. He had developed allergies and was miserable. He was a gigantic bear of a German Shepherd and weighed over 100 pounds. The staff at Brookside was awesome, especially during Covid when they would have to walk him without us, from our car in the parking lot. They were so patient and sweet with him as he had a very aggressive bark.If you are ever in the unfortunate situation where you have to see a veterinarian, I can’t recommend them enough. The prices is next to none. I have no learned not to “judge a book by its cover” because it doesn’t look like much from the outside. We had been going to a “bougie” vet out in Draper and it was a beautiful and pristine place, but the staff was cold and the prices were astronomical. My sister in law recommended Brookside Animal clinic because she had just lost their sweet dog and Brookside was the only vet available in the city who would let their family be present for euthanasia because of the pandemic.I arrived at Brookside Monday morning without my shoes on and our other baby dog in tow. It had been a nightmare of a weekend and I was exhausted and emotionally spent.The staff was so understanding and sympathetic to the situation and they were amazing with Jude during his last precious moments on Earth.I wish he could have passed away at home on his own, but he just kept holding on through the pain. It was an agonizing decision to make and the vet walked us through each step and didn’t seem at all bothered that we interfered with her lunch break.Thank you again to the amazing staff for taking such good care of my baby Jude!”

“If you're in an emergency situation with your pet where they're dying and need to be put down and if several clinics are overbooked or are not available to do it right away, then choose this one. Had to call a lot of different vet clinics for my dachschund to be put down and luckily found this place where they were able to book a room fast over the phone. “First, I have to give Amanda, who is the groomer, a huge recommendation. She has been my dogs' groomer for over seven years. She is fantastic with all dogs, treats them like her own, and they always look their best selves once she is done with them. I have been a dog owner for 25 plus years, and she is by far the best groomer I have had.Dr. Payne has been my dog's vet, and he has been great. He is informative, empathetic and kind with my dogs. Recently, he had to be in the unfortunate situation of telling me that my beloved pup had aggressive cancer, which meant that the right thing to do for her was let her go. Dr. Payne and the rest of the staff were so kind, caring and empathetic; and help us through a very sudden and tragic situation.I've taken my dogs to the VCA Amor staff for a long time (even when it was Vesta Cresta) and have recommended them to all friends and family who have pets, and will continue doing so.”
