About East Mountain Wilderness Park
East Mountain Wilderness Park offers hiking and walking trails near Kaysville. It features an orienteering course, a great free family activity that takes around an hour, though some markers may be missing. The trails are very beginner but connect to others for harder hikes. There is a new parking lot with plenty of spots. Facilities include amazing bathrooms and a water station at the start. There is no playground or picnic area. The terrain can be icy in colder seasons, with spring and summer being a great time to visit. The first mile of trail is kind of awful but after that it's pretty good.

Very nice well marked series of trails through scrub oak forest. Great place to see Lazuli Buntings. Dog friendly ( lease please and clean up after your dogs!)
