“I took classes from VAI for 8 years, and I will love it forever. There is no place I am more loyal to or more grateful for. The numerous teachers I took from, specifically Bruce and Shelley, were all incredible artists and incredible people who shaped me into the artist I am today. I am certain I would be nowhere close to where I am today, both artistically and otherwise, without their expertise and focused attention. There is no place like VAI in the country, let alone in Utah, and I can say this confidently having studied art at various camps and universities that cannot compare. While VAI has classes ranging from stained glass to digital, their unique focus on live figure-drawing and portraiture is the most distinctive facet I can think of. All the models are excellent, kind, and timely, and the courses are welcoming to all age levels. All this said, I love VAI so much and I am eager to come back and visit whenever I have the chance!”

“I work with UILC as the Life Skills Instructor. I had a planned a garden field trip elsewhere and they cancelled the day before. On a whim I drove by Wasatch Community Gardens and met Maddie. She was able to squeeze us in for a wonderful garden tour! We not only were able to view the beautiful plants, but also taste, smell and learn all about the plants. Maddie is an excellent educator! She is great with people and so very knowledgeable in her craft. So Grateful we decided to just check it out! Thank You for an Amazing experience!!”

“We found our sweet little girl here! You can tell the owners know each of their cats well. Fawn’s told us the story of our little Myra before we adopted her. Her original owners had to give her up and she came into Areah’s (owner of Fawn’s) care while very sick. They nursed her back to health from Areah and her husband’s own home before we met and adopted her. Very grateful to Areah and the rescue for taking such good care of Myra. ❤ I see some reviews that mention the smell, but to be honest, it smells like a place that rescues cats?? It was actually really clean. Their kitties aren’t locked up and are free to roam. They have designated litter boxes that the cats can use any time, as it should be. I’d also expect not to see air fresheners everywhere because cats can be very sensitive to those. Love this place and the work they’re doing!!”

I had a whole freezer full with my baby only eating 2 oz. I donated to McKay Dee Hospital and did my blood work there too! I was always treated with respect. And once I was done being a donor THEY SENT ME AN AWARD IT WAS SO COOL.”
