“Awesome trainer and group weight lifting classes. Everything is coordinated and you have spotters to help. The “push to failure” motto is great, and while I don’t necessarily love weight lifting, it’s growing on me!?? ?”

“There is a reason X365 has been awarded the best of SLC for 3 years running! From the cleanliness of the equipment to the kind and knowledgeable trainers and courteous gym-goers, this is the place to be in regard to training and getting into shape. I go in the morning, mostly from Monday to Friday, and one of the best parts of my day is saying good morning and talking with D. (or De, I think her full name is Deanne). She doesn't train me, but she is the most welcoming person to everyone who steps foot into the gym. It truly starts my day off right when I walk in, and she welcomes me with a warm smile and a "good morning!" All in all, I am so happy I made the investment in myself with my membership here.”

“I love working out here - it's been an incredible experience. The coaches go above and beyond and truly care about your growth as an athlete/person. The classes are really well curated so they are always challenging but always enjoyable.”

“I highly recommend Rise4! The workouts are functional and diverse including everything from strength, cardio, mobility, stability, and active recovery. The schedule promotes more balance, by offering a few lower intensity classes, than a lot of comparable gyms that only provide high intensity workouts. Every day of the week has a different workout that gets repeated for 6 weeks. This makes it easy to see tangible progress if you attend consistently. The people at Rise4 are great too! The coaches are very knowledgeable and provide a lot of support and feedback on form. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is also a strong emphasis on cultivating a community as they host events outside of the gym and engage members in supporting charities.”

“Great, attentive, professional, courteous owner. Equipment is well maintained. Only negative would be a personal trainer who trains groups of middle school kids by using a large room (not reserved/scheduled). Tough for a small gym with good patronage during prime hours.”

“Age Performance has the best program in Utah for the elderly. I've investigated several programs, currently using the Salt Lake Tennis Club for my daily exercise, and I plan to include Age Performance in my future. I will be 82 in a month.”

“We had our sons birthday party here a couple weeks ago and it couldn’t have gone more perfectly. The staff was engaging with the kids and they all had a BLAST! If you are looking for a stress free and affordable party that the kids will be talking about for a long time then this is the place to go.”

“Encouraging coaches, friendly desk staff, and an all around unbeatable workout! I have tried many different fitness modalities and none compare to the physical & mental challenge (and drive) that OTF offers! The coaches want to be there and that shows by way of their engaging presence in the studio, attention to form, and making each client feel SEEN in the studio. My only regret is not trying OTF sooner.”

“This is the 3rd studio I have tried so far as I am trying to find a pole studio to call home. I attended Pole Church with Justin on Sunday Morning and it was the best class I have attended so far. Justin was the only instructor that introduced himself, gave a brief overview of the class agenda, and even had participants quickly introduce themselves. He took the time to give us feedback and offer assistance. The energy was great and I felt very comfortable. Great job Justin!”

“The best. I’m never going back to a crowded chain gym again. UFI has the space and equipment I need, but most importantly, I have a trainer in Danesh who is in lock step with my post surgical recovery goals, pushes me, and treats me like the athlete I am. No soft corners, but constant encouragement and excitement about what we’re accomplishing.”

“LET ME TELL YOU, Legends is by far the most fun and challenging gym I’ve been to yet. Even as someone new to boxing, I was so impressed with how the coaches are able to help me learn while also teaching much more advanced boxers in the class. Fina was my trainer for my trial class and she made it such an amazing experience. Not only are the coaches phenomenal, but the people who go to Legends at Trolley Square are so friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve been going for 3 weeks now and already feel like a part of their community. If you’re looking to feel like a badass, learn proper boxing technique, get a killer workout, to be challenged, and to socialize….. it doesn’t get better than this!”

“I love this gym. I visited a couple others in the area before deciding on WCR and this one is a welcoming place for all fitness levels, the facility and equipment are awesome and the owners are highly involved and care about their members. I like this gym so much that I make the commute from Layton, where there are 2 CF gyms and it is well worth it. Best CrossFit gym in the North SLC area by far.”

“If you do one thing for yourself come to this OTF location. The staff is absolutely incredible. This includes the front desk staff and the coaches. Coaches are knowledgeable, kind, and truly know you. Front desk staff are so welcoming and willing to help with anything you need. This place feels like a family. My wife and I look forward to our workouts every week.”

“MY HUSBAND AND I LOVE TKO! Jessica, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable, genuine, and compassionate. She has created a safe, accepting place for anyone to come and better themselves. The culture here is not like other gyms- here the instructors just want you to thrive and take care of BOTH your mental and physical health. We love every single instructor and love our membership here! HIGHLY recommend TKO!!”

“Great Gym. John and Elise have done an excellent job of creating a strong culture. Whether you're getting ready for a competition or just there to work out individually, you're part of the community which is rare in gyms today. Its a judgment free zone where everyone is there to help each other improve and push themselves to their max be it competition or personal best.”

“Love Farmington Rec.. I go to workout there.. Their facility is super clean, not really busy upstairs when I go, so I like that. But they have dumbbells of all weights up to 55 lbs.. It allows me to get a good burn in and then get on rowing machine or treadmill . They also have an indoor track but really great spot”

“This gym has made me love CrossFit. The only thing I regret is not joining earlier. Coaches are amazing, every work out is fun and challenging… you will get stronger, make friends and have a blast.”

“AJ and Danniqa at the front desk were amazing! Smooth checkin I only needed a day pass and greeted me as I came in. The gym itself is spaced out really nice and everyone in there was there to work hard. No gym toxicity here! Manager was excellent as well and was very helpful.”

“Pretty decent place. Wifi fast with clearly marked pass. Good parking, well lit. Better than your average anytime fitness. Showers seemed like they use a bit more chlorine but that's not Anytime fitness fault. Easy access for wheelchairs. Very nice overall.”

“A great facility both for squash players and anyone looking for a place to work out or to join a community of players in Salt Lake! They have lots of courts, great weight equipment, bikes and treadmills. They also have nice changing rooms and a fun communal space for watching matches!”

“I recently joined this gym, and I'm thrilled with the experience. The cleanliness is exceptional, creating a comfortable workout environment. It's never overcrowded, allowing for a focused and uninterrupted exercise routine. The well-equipped facilities cater to a variety of fitness needs, making it a great fit for anyone seeking a versatile workout space. Highly recommended!”

“This gym has the old school gym vibe like Golds use to be. Everyone is fully committed and focused on improving themselves. The gym is oddly laid out but has multiple sections available. There is a stretching area, machines, cardio, free weights, a class area (away from the rest of it) and a hybrid/crossfit room (costs extra). It’s a very chill good vibe gym and everyone is very nice. If you want to put on headphones and zone out, no one will bother you but if you want to chat people are more than happy to talk. The locker rooms have a sauna and showers and are always clean. This gym isn’t for everyone but if you are into the old school gym vibe then you should move to this gym.”

“I am consistently impressed with Salt Lake Tennis and Health Club. Highly recommend!Pricing: Their pricing is fair and transparent, and I appreciate that you pay for tennis only when you play. Other facilities I've been to build tennis costs into their membership pricing, increasing total membership costs. I really like the 'pay as I play' model because I don't play tennis at the club daily. The tennis programs I've participated in have been incredibly economical, and I was astonished by the surprisingly low cost of the tennis programs for members. As it pertains to membership, every interaction with Heather has been great. In fact, about a year ago, I had a concern with my membership, and when I spoke with Heather, she was accommodating and worked with me. My decision to renew my membership the following year was influenced by her willingness to help me and my wonderful interactions with her. Many thanks to Heather!Staff and Other Members: The staff has been nothing but superb. Upon entering the club, the front desk employees greet you with several warm welcomes and smiles! Many of them know me by name, making the experience much better. They've been helpful and can answer any questions I've had. Each tennis coach I've had the honor of working with or attending their class is exceptionally knowledgeable, honest, comically funny, and encouraging. They are always happy to answer any clarifying questions, and I look forward to each tennis program/class because of them. When I first attended a tennis program, the other club members were so kind, excitedly welcoming me, and explained the drills. The club has an overall fun energy among the staff and other members. And I've even made some great club friends! A non-member even commented to me how friendly everyone at the club was!Weight Training and Cardio Areas: I love that a few pieces of equipment are always available for use, even during their busiest times. At other facilities I've been to during peak times, I've been 'stuck' on one machine, waiting for another to be available. They upgraded many of their weight training equipment, which has been great. The club is clean, and I frequently witness the cleaning staff - one of them in particular - continually cleaning the cardio area and women's restroom. The frequency with which I've witnessed her mopping the floors has greatly impressed me. She does a fantastic job!”

“Planet fitness is one of the cleanest gyms I've ever been to. There is a variety of equipment. I also love coming here because the staff is so friendly at the Centerville location.”

“way better than eos down the street! it’s way less busy and there is so much room to set up for your workouts/plenty of matching machines so you’re not waiting forever for one thing. absolutely love the cinema room for the privacy while doing cardio, and they are very attentive to starting the movie when it ends. staff is always super nice and greets/says goodbye every time i pass and helped when i spilt my water. also plenty of cleaning wipes around the gym to wipe equipment with after sets. my only complaint would be the bathrooms are pretty run down/nasty (like things falling off the walls ie-toilet paper holders) and need a good makeover, which i know the employees don’t have any say in so i’m not knocking a star off for that.:)”

“Busy place. I like how their TV's marked. The downside of this location is paid parking. I paid 9.99 for 3 hours, and that's half of my monthly membership fee.”
