“Dwayne was absolutely amazing. When he called to give me a quote, he was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable, even with questions I thought might not be something they’d typically know. He kept everything honest and straightforward.

For anyone wondering, and something I think is important for EVERYONE to know, I asked him if it was better to pay for the windshield replacement upfront or go through insurance. His honest answer was that either option works, but he helped me understand the bigger picture. If I went through my insurance (Progressive), they could help cover the cost depending on my coverage. However, with my insurance specifically and others, they can “recoil” after you use them, meaning when you renew your policy, your rate can increase. Over time, that adds up to way more than just paying out of pocket. So I learned it was actually cheaper and better to just pay upfront.

For those who can’t front the money, they also offer the option to use an app called Zip, which, if you’re approved, allows you to set up payment plans.

I was really impressed with Dwayne and how he explained all of this. I can’t stress that enough, especially with how patient he was. I asked over a dozen questions just to make sure I fully understood everything and could make the best decision for myself. I even gave him a rough (and honestly terrible) explanation of what was wrong with my windshield, and he immediately knew where the crack started, what caused it, and that I needed a full replacement.

I also learned that they are SO much better priced than most places. Other quotes I got were all over the place and definitely more expensive. I saved hundreds going with them, and honestly, we all need that right now.

Dwayne, if you see this, you’re an absolute model for customer service, and I’m really grateful for everything you did. Tell your manager a raise is NEEDED!!!

The rest of the team in the office was very kind and patient as well. The woman who checked me in and out was so nice. Even listening to how they handled walk-in customers, they really went above and beyond.

The shop itself was very clean and well kept, not like the typical mechanic-type places that are usually dirty or run down.

The technicians were very fast and did an amazing job. I had been putting off getting my windshield fixed because of the cost and time, but I was in and out within an hour, I am so happy with how it turned out, I only wish I found them sooner and didn’t put fixing it off so long!

“It probably helped that I was there a little earlier in the day, but this place was great. I walked in, told the employees I was hoping to get my emissions and reg. done, the employees asked for about 15-20 minutes, took my car around back to the shop and I don’t think I was even waiting for 10 minutes and they got everything done. Total time was maybe 20 minutes, reasonable pricing cause ya know, DMV fees and all that and their services fees, but I would go back every time. Fast, didn’t try to add on or do anything else I didn’t ask, not exactly the “warmest” customer service but not rude at all, and the building seems to be older so not the most up to date/pristine building. “Stopped at my local Safelite shop immediately after taking a rock that chipped my windshield in the lower right side corner. Safelite staff got my Ford F350 in for the chip repair with no wait time. 40 minutes later I was back on the road! This was not my 1st time at Safelite for windshield work. I have had several vehicles in for repair and replacement.
I learned by botched repair and installation at other repair companies in my 50 years of vehicle ownership.

“I went in yesterday 6/23 for an estimate about a chip in my windshield. The man that talked with me was so friendly and helpful. He broke down all the costs for me and told me if I had GEICO I could claim it through the app and GEICO would waive the deductible and it would be free. He even walked me through exactly how to do it on the app, sure enough it worked ! I dropped my car off same night and it was ready at 9am next day 06/24. It looks like the chip was never there. Amazing fast service and very helpful staff”
