Highly impressed by the experience I had with Grainger! Even more so considering I'm just a "general public" figure. I found something similar to what I needed on their website...but it wasn't in stock at my local store and wasn't exactly what I needed...but figured it was something I could make work. I called in, and was helped by three of the nicest people on the face of the planet! The first person confirmed that what I was initially looking at was not available at my local store...then when I asked if he had any recommendations for something similar...but that was available at my local store he professionally informed me that he didn't know...but that he could put me in touch with someone who did. He asked me if it was okay for me to be placed on hold briefly while he got in touch with this other person. It was a very brief hold indeed and was personally introduced to the new person via 3 way call by the person I initially contacted.This 2nd person (I think they called him a parts specialist or something) was very good! He took one look at the original item I called in asking about and then proceeded to ask very good clarifying questions about my equipment and what I was trying to replace...and in a matter of minutes he had not only found a part that was in stock at my local store, but it actually was going to work better than the original part I found. He then put me in touch with someone at my local store so I could formally place an order. The gal I spoke to at my local store was also super kind and helpful and took my order very well!But it gets better! Just when you think we've reached the pinnacle of customer service...there's more awesomeness! I placed my order over the phone and got my emailed order confirmation at 10:49 AM...at 10:56 AM I got another email saying my order was ready for pickup. Now I just ordered one little part so I'm guessing larger orders could take slightly longer to get prepared for pickup...but still less than 10 minutes to be ready for a phone order...impressive! Especially so, because this part was critical to the equipment I was using for work that day, and I had to get it back up and running ASAP.I was driving to the store as I was placing the order. So I arrived at my local store at 11:04 AM, walked in, and didn't even have time to wipe my feet on the mat before someone approached to assist me. Told them I was there to pick up an order...I arrived so close to when the order was ready for pickup the paperwork hadn't been delivered to the will-call desk yet, but they went back and quickly found my order and I was out the door headed back to fix my equipment minutes after arriving.Cherry on the top of everything...this was not only the only place that helped me find what I needed, and who had it in stock locally, but also beat everyone else's price! Great job everyone! Will certainly be using you again in the future!

Always found it hilarious how business that support the blue collar industry are run on bankers hours, hang on let me leave work early so I can go get stuff for work.

As a weekend handyman, it's difficult to find the parts that I want to use at the large home stores. I went to the local Granger in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was waited on by Ben. Ben spent a lot of time with me, went above and beyond to help me figure out what I could use to change the venting in my house. What he suggested was perfect, and far less expensive than what I would have paid at one of the large box stores. Thank you, Grainger!

First time here. Had a great experience. I was a little bit worried that this would not cater to an individual homeowner, but it was totally fine. The process was easy and the staff was friendly. They have a bit of a different set up from a big box store. You work with someone at the front to put together your order, then they go into the back and gather it all up for you.

I promise it's not worth the hassle. Just order from amazon.I made my order with the total $208 on the 31st the bank says you took $180 and then tried taking $48 more instead of $28 and they blocked it. I keep getting told the money isnt charged until i pick it up but I also go a email from you and a survey saying I picked up items I called the store and they said it must be a mistake my order isnt even ready yet. Now today you guys say you got $78 and want $130 at the store and the bank says ive paid $180 and $28 is pending.Listen i'm just a customer there is no way i could have caused all this mess this is a grainger problem.

And I have to be honest this was my very first experience with Grainger industrial I was looking for parts that I could not locate anywhere else and I had the pleasure of meeting Ben at your Salt Lake City location. Not only was he very knowledgeable extremely friendly but in my opinion the front line face every company should have when they are in the service industry. I had no doubt that I could find what I was looking for at Granger but I never thought that I would walk out of Grainger feeling like I walked out of the Four Seasons… kudos to Ben !!!! Now I’m going home and making 5/8 holes in everything I can to get good use of that tap !!!!

I never leave reviews . here is my experience. The company I work for has an account with Granger. After waiting in line with the tool that I needed I'm literally at the customer service desk at this point. I say " how's it going brother " the gentleman behind the counter wouldn't even look at me. Turns around walks away I stand there thinking maybe hes slammed because it was busy. I brush it off. I waited and then walked away to browse around . the guy comes back helps other people I wait in line again. Then explain to the gentleman that we are with blank company and we have an account nt . he said he could not find it. And that kind of stuff happens no biggie but he says thats kinda fishy if u ask me. The vibe was disrespectful I said "fishy huh?" And walked out. Never again.

I installed a switch incorrectly, ended up melting said switch that I had purchased from Grainger. Took it in to BUY a new one, they replaced the melted switch at no charge.
