Love's Travel Stop, located on I-80 at Exit 118/Redwood Rd, is a convenient stop that offers friendly service, clean facilities, and a modern store stocked with diesel fuel, gas, food, and supplies to keep drivers moving. Many travelers appreciate the location for its ease of access and the availability of essential items. However, parking can be challenging, as the lot is often full, making it hard to find a spot, especially since it is smaller and tight. Visitors are advised not to park in fuel aisles, as authorities have enforced parking rules, including booting trucks that block aisles to go inside. The stop has a security presence, which some travelers find reassuring, especially for single women traveling alone. The security staff is seen as helpful and communicative, sometimes interacting with local police, which adds to the feeling of safety. Despite this, some visitors mention concerns about the environment, citing the presence of homeless individuals and the busy surroundings that make the area less appealing. There is also criticism about the company’s handling of truck parking, with some drivers waiting long periods for Amazon loads or using the lot as a permanent parking area, leading to congestion and trucks being left unattended for over 24 hours. Overall, Love's Travel Stop is considered friendly and clean, with good service and a sense of safety due to security efforts, but parking limitations and surrounding environment issues are noted as drawbacks.
Traveled 5,500 miles over the course of a month and a half and this is the only loves that wouldn’t allow overnight parking while passing through. Said they would have to charge me $3 and change for a cup of hot water

Do not recommend overnight stops. Get your gas and go. Sketchy neighborhood and caters primarily to commercial trucks. Lots of generators running. Don’t expect a quiet night if you choose to stay.
