“This gas station is almost always incredibly busy, and unless you come early in the morning before around 9:00, there’s usually a bit of a wait for a pump. That said, the traffic flow is managed fairly well considering how many customers come through here daily.
One feature I really appreciate is the lights above the pumps that indicate when a spot is available. It makes navigating the station much easier and helps keep things moving efficiently instead of having drivers guessing which lane will open up next. Even with the crowds, the system is organized and works better than many other busy gas stations I’ve visited.”

“We always get our gas at Smiths because it's a higher quality gas and we also get the discount which is that added plus for us cuz some were not rich. But to be honest we do shop between Walmart and Smith's. Smiths has higher quality. Walmart has cheaper cheaper stuff so you kind of have to balance it all out but both stores

“I live in the neighborhood and frequent this store for gas, snack and treat runs. They have a great staff who my kids and I always look forward to seeing and I like that they don’t have frequent turnover so many of the employees have been there for quite some time (sign of a good manager). The manager does a great job running the shop and the reason for my review is I was there recently and there was a customer giving them a very hard time because the stores supply of Diet Coke was gone. He repeatedly filled up cups with ice and kept putting the soda water, that he already knew had no Diet Coke into his cup. He repeated this 4 or 5 times and would then repeated over and over again “there’s a problem with the Diet Coke”… there was even a sign on the front of the machine stating it was out of order. He would then would dispose of his cup and start over. The staff was incredibly patient with him and I just wanted to make this post to tell them thank you for their continued service and patience. I am proud to have a team such as them working in my neighborhood.”

“The absolute best. Only place left on earth with soft serve frozen yogurt like a normal institution. I’ve been going for 10+ years and it’s still the most solid choice for a little pick me up, winter or summer; spring or fall. If you need to go into labor, the frozen yogurt (mountain blackberry) put me into labor twice.”
“This is my all time favorite place to get gas, get service and bring in my boys. Josh runs a tight ship during the day. Kat is phenomenal with her customer service and a hard-working professional throughout, she caught my kid take a donut, and politely told me about it, I was shocked how kind she was about it, as I apologized and paid for it, while talking to my son about stealing(usually an employee practically ANYWHERE, would chime in on my parenting, not the case here). Nakeysha is amazing for working two jobs and still manages to run the store diligently. Wendy is a great conversationalist and is a sweetheart. Maggie is a hard worker, of top tier excellence. In truth, with this location of how so many customers/loiterers come in to be entitled, they handle it with a profound patience that even inspires me to do better with those that are like that.My 6 year old kid hugs Kat when we go in, these people need praise for raise!!! I love this store, the only location where I get gas as well. For being how limited with their employees, this location deserves the caliber of greatness through and through..... needless to say if they go on to bigger and better things, they will be missed, and I'll probably not come in as much. This is the only place where my kids are welcome with smiles and kindness.”

“Fantastic convenience store. I never get gas at Holiday but I love getting some caffeine-free coke here! Only place I know of where they have it available. Decent prices on most things, too. Top tier customer service, clean, and always well stocked. They, like Maverick, usually have both nugget and regular ice, so if you prefer the nuggets (you heathens), it's worth it for that! Overall usually a great experience even if I almost only go there for a soda refill. The great popped popcorn is pretty awesome too, and it gives the whole place a fantastic smell.”

“I am giving a much higher rating. However this is only a review of the CAR WASH. First if you pay and choose the 9$ wash many times u will get the 5$ or 7$ wash. This happened to me yesterday. I paid 9$ got the 5$ wash! I was thinking why is it over so fast? Last you have to go thru the drying process especially for the windows. I didn’t want my grill dried! It is black had a bug stuck. I don’t want it dried on. It made it worse not better! The vacuum closeest to the road does suck! I can’t use the one next to the car washes or I am blocking a space. The management always fixes any issue asap! I’d say yes great choice for a fast wash! Stores always great CS fantastic!”

I’ve been to all three Maverik locations in this area, but I will now go out of my way to visit this specific one at 6855 South 1300 East. There is a noticeable difference in quality and service here that makes it worth the extra drive.
