“I have rented from Rugged Rental for years and really enjoy working with them. They provide really great vehicles, have excellent rates, and have a shuttle from the airport. Only once have I had an issue with a vehicle and they took care of it promptly above and beyond. Will continue to use these folks as often as I can”

The area feels safe and the gate is always easy to access with my code. Plus the price I pay here is still the best I’ve ever been able to find!”

“Affordable rental car was by far the easiest rental car agency out there. They were quick to pick up and drop off. They were the most affordable place to rent a car. They even called us more than once to make sure we had a ride to the location since we were flying in and rented from the state street location. The workers were so down to earth and nice. We had one little issue with the car too and they did a great job at resolving the issue. We will definitely be renting from them when we go to SLC! If you want to save a headache you should too.”

“I don't remember his name, but the owner was very kind. He called me several hours before my pickup time to let me know that a bigger truck had come in and that I could pick it up anytime. That was a huge help. The price was also more than reasonable. If I need a uhaul again, I'll be coming here”

“The is was my first time renting from Penske. I’ve always rented from Uhaul historically. What I loved about Penske was the truck. It came with a Cummins diesel engine, an Allison transmission, and even a spring-loaded driver’s seat for comfort. I was shocked when I discovered it even had adaptive cruise control. The diesel engine handled the mountains so much better than a gas powered truck. We got 9.7mpg on a 600 mile drive in a 26 foot truck fully loaded and driving through the mountains of Utah. It was great. The only downside for me was the high deck for loading and unloading with a Penske truck. The deck is about 4 feet high which means a really steep ramp as opposed to the lower deck in the Uhaul trucks.”
“This uhaul location has the best staff. They're always very helpful and insightful. They get me in and out with all of my truck needs. I highly recommend this location and the manager lady I can't think of her name but she's awesome. Thank you for all of your help”

“Tasha is a Gemini...and in between phone calls, mechanics and delivering great customer service. I had the best experience there. Granted the info I was given didn't match numbers-but Tasha took a couple of calls had a couple of convos w her mechanics and within minutes it was straightened out when my boss responded to my text. “Just finished up a 21 year long relationship with kenworth paclease and now our company decided to give ideal lease a shot. So we haven't even received our new trucks yet. They are still in the build process.We are still in their rentals. But so far i think itis going to be better than kenworth. The mechanics out in the shop seem pretty laid back so im hopping we have a good couple lease periods with them and that should take me up to retirement. So i hope it goes good”

“I am only leaving a review to counteract the previous bad reviews. This location is totally fine. The prices here are the best in SLC from my experience. Yes I’ve experienced delays and inconveniences and some coldness from one of the desk agents but honestly for the price I can’t complain. The cars are always clean and ready within 20 mins of my reservation time. There can be lines due to there only being one agent working at a time but it’s honestly not that bad. Go to the airport and pay the premium price if you want nicer agents and no delays.”

“This review is about an incredible young lad called Serafin who was an absolute rockstar fulfilling my Ford Mustang reservation for a day trip with my partner. At the end I found out it was only his third day at the job!
His attitude, professionalism, attention to detail, and clarity of communication was top notch and had us out on our way in no time and with no heartaches. It’s the basics but done right. Fast, efficient, respectful, clear. It’s surprising how many people get these basics wrong but Serafin’s character and sharp thinking really stood out and will take him a long way! I hope his management reads this review.”
