“Took my wife's 2013 Toyota RAV4 in for service. The dealer told my wife that her timing cover gasket was leaking oil and needed to be replaced. Cost? Over $3,000. There was a big oil stain where she parked. Ray called to tell us that there was no timing cover oil leak. When the Toyota dealer did the 120,000 mile maintenance, they flushed and refilled the transmission. When doing so, they tightened the drain plug but left the filler cap or plug, loose, causing transmission fluid to leak when running. We did have all new shocks and struts installed and they did a great job. Take your car to Action Auto for service and repair. Ray will treat you with honesty every time.

“Have been going to Foothill Tire Pros for years. Recently my Jeep had some brake issues and they cropped up immediately after they had inspected the brakes and rotated tires. It turned out to be coincidental timing, but Foothill Tire Pros and its manager, Dustin, were willing to make the assumption of fault and arranged to have the Jeep towed to the shop without protest. It ended up having nothing to do with their service, something they suspected from the outset, but they did it anyway. I think that "customer first" mentality is rare these days. Will continue to be a customer here for years to come.”
“Mike Flinn is outstanding, and Steve — his 2nd in command — is excellent as well. I genuinely regret not going to Flinn Auto Repair sooner. If they determine that there isn’t actually a problem, they don’t charge me. I’ve brought my car there at half a dozen times in the past year, for oil change, inspection, and mechanical issues and they only bill for actual work performed — I’ve walked out three times without having to pay anything because it didn't need fixing or it is too old of a car to get parts for. Car repairs are never cheap in general, but everyone at Flinn is kind, honest, and straightforward. That alone removes almost all worry and dread from the process.”

“Dave is amazing. Another shop had told me that I had three bent wheels and needed to replace all of them. I showed up to West Valley Tire looking for used wheels, and instead, Dave walked me back into their shop and let me watch as they re-balanced my tires and checked each of my wheels. The result was that I needed ZERO new wheels, and with the balancing they did and one of the tires flipped over 180-degrees, it cleaned up the rumbling I was experiencing in a huge way. He charged me $0. I'll be buying my next tires from West Valley, for certain. Super impressive! When I asked Dave why the place I bought my tires from hadn't come to the same conclusions, he said "That's the difference between a tire store and a tire shop."”
