“I have had Rush Diesel work on my vehicle a couple times to replace the shock, front diff actuator and EGR/DPF cleaning. They also installed a cold side charge pipe boot and only charge me labor as they one part of a set that had already been used. The do great work and are honest. they explained everything that was going on with my truck before any work was completed. I would recommended them to anyone who needs a good reliable and honest shop to work on their vehicle.”

----Im posting this addition a year later: my car went back 2 M1 at least three times within 3 months of me posting my original review. They didn't even fix one of the things that they were supposed to--(that U joint.)
They replaced the battery. that was basically new.
They charged my mother 8,000 total. I had to do various things myself and now I can finally try & sell that car. I retract what I put before. At least partly. My Aunt helped me fix it. I don't suggest going here. I think the owner Mike is a decent guy that I think he needs to pay attention to whoever he had working for him. They/He/Someone, cut Corners or they lied, or were oblivious. They Replaced what wasn't needed, overcharged, admitted he put in old valve stems. They caused me more BS than I'd like to admit. I am Sure my Mom told them go thru & make it safe, etc. But, in that respect, they DID, yet DID NOT.
I WILL SAY, MY CAR WAS A 2005. THERE IS A LOT OF VARIABLES. AND WORKING ON OLDER VEHICLES. MY SITUATION WASN'T NORMAL.
THAT being said, $h*t happens. Any autoshop is not perfect. I know Mike tried to do us right. But I feel we should not have went there. ESPECIALLY AS MUCH LABOR $ MORE THAN ONE DIAGNOSTICS ETC.
Yes, it's a year later, but you see--I'm a single mom. I went through hell and I was trying to respect my mother. She was paying for it, & INSISTED IT WENT HERE - A FRIEND OF A FRIEND.... but she doesn't know about cars like that. My advice--Be very Careful. read the paperwork.
Know what the hell you're paying for, what they did, & Why. What they are going to do.
I'd ask who the hell is actually working on your car. And that's good advice for anybody going to any auto shop. Cars are fickle, especially old cars. I SUGGEST TALKING WITH THE OWNER MIKE. I BELIEVE HE IS A DECENT HONEST GUY..... BUT HE IS NOT THE ONLY MECHANIC & WE ALL TRUST PEOPLE WE SHOULDN'T AT SOME POINT.”

“I don’t usually do reviews but my wife came in with our Honda Van last night right after she called the store asking if they could take her in for a flat repair they were like 10 to 15 minutes from closing and the gentleman on the phone said yes come on in, we will get you taken care of, when she got there the same gentleman that answer the phone greeted her at her car I have never seen anyone do this at any tire shop but this one is different than other places, also my wife had somewhere to be asap and the person who helped I think his name was Antonio or Antoine he got it done in less than 20 minutes great job!!! “UPDATE: Got a call from Javen, the new store manager. He listened to me, and understood where I was coming from. Apologized for the incident and offered to make it right. I now have the correct tire size on my car. It handles better and he has restored my faith in Discount Tire.

They installed tires that were not the correct size for my car. I had paid for the correct size of tire and made an appointment at this specific location. Even checking the availability of the correct size prior to purchas and appointment. When I got there, I was informed that they didn't have my tires in stock, but was advised that they had a different brand that was just as good but got better wear. So I said okay.
However, within the year my tires where showing a lot of wear. The front two tires were wearing out much faster than the back two.
With Winter coming on, I decided to get two new front tires due to my car being Frontwheel drive and the back show almost no wear at all.
Took my car to someone else and found that the tires I should have gotten, 235/55 R17, were not what was on my car. The tires I got were much smaller.
Be sure to check your car and don't just trust that they will put on the correct ones. Not ever going back.”

“These guys are amazing! Passing through SLC, I found CarZone on Google and went to them on Sunday for AC repair and a recurring check engine light, and I'm extremely impressed with their service. The staff was courteous, and the mechanic, Sam, was incredibly thorough.

Instead of just quick fixes, they meticulously diagnosed both issues. For the AC, they found and repaired the root cause of the hot air. I bought a new compressor from a parts store that was faulty. Raeed found a new compressor to replace the faulty one overnight. Lesson learned - just have him order the parts if you need replacements.

For the check engine light, Sam methodically investigated all potential causes, explaining their process clearly. He also pointed out that the ball joints were completely worn (I saw 2 other mechanics that said nothing, which is surprising because it's a safety concern). He also got those replaced for me.

They said they would get the car done the same day, and they are guys of their word. Sam went back to the shop and finished working on the car late into the night.

Needless to say -issues were completely resolved, and my car is running like a brand new car. I highly recommend CarZone for reliable and comprehensive automotive service. Not only are their prices more than reasonable, they work with high integrity and just a group of solid & fun guys that just love what they do.
