“Highly recommend. Went a couple of weeks ago. All of the staff was excellent. Rooms were nice. Small hotel feel for a bigger chain. Nice breakfast. Pools was medium sized but good for right size to beat the heat for the kids in the afternoon. Very close to lots of good restaurants and shops and 3 min drive to Park entrance. Also had bonus of mule deer coming onto the property from time to time. Of course with all spots in Springdale, incredible views of Zion.”

“We had a wonderful stay at LaFave in the Sundial, and then in The Sentinel, which was available when we requested to extend our stay. Both suites were very clean, comfortable and modern. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the kitchen well-equipped. It was so nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. The property is contactless, but Jamie was very prompt to respond when we texted with questions, and she even arranged for our things to be transferred to our second suite while we were out exploring. The location is perfect as a base for seeing Zion as well as Bryce Canyon and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. We felt we received very good value for the premium price. We highly recommend LaFave.”

“Great location, clean rooms, and pleasant staff. A wonderful value compared to competitors. Understand you get a full hot breakfast including drink from Porters restaurant next door. Based on menu prices in a tourist meca that's worth $20 a person. It's an old style motel, but rooms have been updated.
N.B...to those that complain about no hot water, there is plenty. Basically operator error to those that complain. The valve may be reversed hot is cold and vice-versa...figure it out people!!”

“Great lodge in the park, the night is expensive but we are in the middle of the park, large quiet room with a terrace and armchairs with a view of the canyon
The wifi works very well!
Everything is clean. Large TV, fridge, coffee maker
The microwave is in the hallway

Super convenient to have access to the lodge, we were able to park and take advantage of the shuttles to visit the park. Private access for hotel guests.”

“Admittedly as a Lifetime Platinum member of Marriott's loyalty program I was a bit skeptical on booking this place because I thought it may skimp on amenities, service and quality of furnishings. But we were pleasantly surprised to the degree of "niceness" of this hotel. Rooms were spacious and appointed with West Elm furniture. Spacious kitchenette area with good size mini fridge, counter, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave. Unlike other hotel brands that skimp out on providing 2 K-pods for your entire stay, this hotel gave us a generous 6 pods per day! Housekeeping service was daily and impeccable (although we expected them to do every other day).

Breakfast was complimentary and was always fresh - eggs were cage free and they rotated the breakfast meat option from turkey, chicken and pork sausages or patties. Greens, fresh salsa, shredded cheese as well as fresh breads, muffins, scones, waffles, oatmeal and granola really rounded up the great breakfast. And tons of coffee urns available 24 hours a day! Best part of the breakfast was the breathtaking views from the dining area (see photo attached)!

Location was impeccable! 5 minute drive maximum to the entry of Zion National Park and right in the smack middle of town of Springdale. We walked everywhere to lounges, restaurants, tour shops, and markets. The Springdale line shuttle to Zion stopped conveniently right in front of the hotel on the main road.

Only "complication" was parking as it can get competitive but enough spaces for everyone provided you are willing to park a bit around the hotel to the sides or backside. But multiple entry and exit points to the hotel rooms made it super easy.

Hotel has a nice outdoor pool and spa although we didn't use it.

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone exploring the Zion park. The last thing you want to worry about is where you're staying. We'd happily stay here again!

Rooms: Spacious, modern furniture from West Elm, good quality beds

Nearby activities: Zion National Park literally next door

Safety: Very safe. We walked around all hours of the night

Walkability: Can walk to all nearby restaurants, bars, market stores with ease

Noteworthy details: Not your typical cheap free breakfast. Very fresh tasting all the time”

“Great location very close to the park entrance and several services in sprondale like Cafés and bike rentals. The breakfast is ok. The freshly renovated rooms are pretty awesome. Plenty of parking and a nice pool. Since there was renovation going on during our stay, gym and guest laundry were both closed - so only four out of five stars.”
