For the past 3 years I’ve been having bad experiences and today I had it with their bad customer service. The staff is never willing to help, always get put on hold for over than 15 minutes, they never call back when they tell you they will call you back to keep you updated about certain situation, bad customer service, The times I had to speak to the loan officers they always have an attitude problem, like they hate their job or something. Don’t bank with them, save yourself the trouble.

DO NOT BANK HERE. Not even offering a star rating here. Theyre too little and yet act so big for their britches. Loyal customer for years. Paid their insane interest rates. One interaction with a manager who obviously had no customer service skills and im "blacklisted". They even report a loan that i was 1 month late on (which had a 1 month grace period) to collections. Why are your tellers so much better than your management? You will be going out of business.

I just want to say that they made me feel discriminated. based on all the questions that they asked me, I am sure that the person who attended me need to read more about the regulations of this place. I just need to open an account and just waste my valuable time

I write this review with great sadness. I have been an active member of Transwest Credit Union for very many years and have taken out a few loans that I have paid back on time if not early.... Today I went in because I had some questions about overdraft protection. I have been going through some tough times with a death in my family and haven't noticed some charges in my account. The nice teller named Christina was helping me but needed some guidance from a manager Elizabeth, when she went into her office and was talking to her, I heard Elizabeth say "well how could she be so irresponsible??" I was appalled by her rudeness and started crying in the lobby. It was very embarrassing and I felt belittled. Instead of her keeping her option about me to herself she had to say it so loud that I heard it along with everyone else in the lobby. Needless to say I am in the process of taking out all of my money and years of patronage from Transwest and taking my banking somewhere where I will be respected. Thank you for all the years of service Transwest, but I can't stay here any longer working with such rude managers.

We recently purchased a car and secured the loan through the Transwest credit union branch in Taylorsville. During the loan process instead of getting a loan for the entire value of the car we decided to put $2000 on our credit card. The branch ran it as a cash advance but didn't tell us so now we have paid an extra $130 in fees and interest. They didn't ask us if it was OK to run it as a cash advance first so we assumed that it would be run as a conventional credit card transaction. Poor communication that cost us a lot of extra money for no reason!
