“The gas station is located on the west side of scenic Utah Scenic Byway 12 (UT-12) at the intersection with 00 N South Street. The gas station has three fuel stations with two fuel pumps each and is under a small, covered pavilion. Inside the Stage Stop Station, is a standard convenience store and the “Route 12 Grill.” The gas prices are much better than it Las Vegas and the staff were very nice and friendly to us. Make sure to take a photo in the oversized “Welcome to Tropic, Utah” chair along with the Sinclair dinosaur.”

“It's the only store in Tropic so it's a bit pricey, but very cute and fits in with the National Parks. Attached is a low lit restaurant, very cozy, I've only had their cheeseburger which is awesome, a nice thick perfect burger and that's not all, there's a custom ice cream shop which is soooooo good. So if you stop to get gas in Tropic you'll have access to a cute grocery store (that has just about everything for being small even fresh fruit and veggies) a semi-elegant very cozy and comfy restaurant with good food and an ice cream store with custom ice cream. Not to mention you're in one of the most beautiful National Parks in the country. â´”

“Wonderful assortment, nice people. Absolutely awful “French Toast” muffin. Looks like swirls of cinnamon… nope. Bitter burnt brown sugar. Where are the cinnamon rolls we heard about? Nix the FT muffins. Ruined my morning. Still, it’s a nice place.”
