Josh was a lifesaver!! He helped me with insurance, and fixed what “the other guys” broke. The repairs did take longer than expected, but we got the car back spic and span.
Also, due to Flatouts stellar reputation and incredible reviews; despite this huge service which may shy buyers, it ended up being a positive selling point to sell the car. I highly recommend these guys for any mechanic work. They’re straight up and honest.”

No more Jiffy Lube. I'm bringing my car straight to you guys.(it went back 2 weeks later, then towed back a month later after AAA TOWED TO MY HOUSE & IT SAT FOR A MONTH.)
it's nice to know that there's still some decent people that you can count on for your peace of mind for your vehicle.... (I don't know, but, I think Mike is a decent guy but Hee was not who worked on my car solely.)

----Im posting this addition a year later: my car went back 2 M1 at least three times within 3 months of me posting my original review. They didn't even fix one of the things that they were supposed to--(that U joint.)
They replaced the battery. that was basically new.
They charged my mother 8,000 total. I had to do various things myself and now I can finally try & sell that car. I retract what I put before. At least partly. My Aunt helped me fix it. I don't suggest going here. I think the owner Mike is a decent guy that I think he needs to pay attention to whoever he had working for him. They/He/Someone, cut Corners or they lied, or were oblivious. They Replaced what wasn't needed, overcharged, admitted he put in old valve stems. They caused me more BS than I'd like to admit. I am Sure my Mom told them go thru & make it safe, etc. But, in that respect, they DID, yet DID NOT.
I WILL SAY, MY CAR WAS A 2005. THERE IS A LOT OF VARIABLES. AND WORKING ON OLDER VEHICLES. MY SITUATION WASN'T NORMAL.
THAT being said, $h*t happens. Any autoshop is not perfect. I know Mike tried to do us right. But I feel we should not have went there. ESPECIALLY AS MUCH LABOR $ MORE THAN ONE DIAGNOSTICS ETC.
Yes, it's a year later, but you see--I'm a single mom. I went through hell and I was trying to respect my mother. She was paying for it, & INSISTED IT WENT HERE - A FRIEND OF A FRIEND.... but she doesn't know about cars like that. My advice--Be very Careful. read the paperwork.
Know what the hell you're paying for, what they did, & Why. What they are going to do.
I'd ask who the hell is actually working on your car. And that's good advice for anybody going to any auto shop. Cars are fickle, especially old cars. I SUGGEST TALKING WITH THE OWNER MIKE. I BELIEVE HE IS A DECENT HONEST GUY..... BUT HE IS NOT THE ONLY MECHANIC & WE ALL TRUST PEOPLE WE SHOULDN'T AT SOME POINT.”

“I have a new Audi S6 that got rear ended at a stop light. I called the sales manager at Audi and they told me there was only 1 shop to take my car and it was Ben at Unique. He said they do all top end vehicles in Salt Lake. I called Ben on his cell phone (in error) and he spoke to me for an hour. A month later, he fought for me every day with insurance and his guys did amazing work on my Audi. Ben invited me to stop often to see the progress. While I didn’t know this shop, I have been around this industry for 30 years. Ben at Unique is the best shop in Utah for any top end auto needing repairs. My S6 looks absolutely unbelievable and he detailed the heck out of it prior to giving it back. This shop will be my body shop in Utah. PERIOD.”

He explained he was from the store on 9000s and was filling in. He was kind and apologized several times. This was very refreshing sinse good customer service is very rare these day.
