“I was passing through Brattleboro from Northern VT and got an inspection. Turned out I needed major repairs, $915 worth. I got those done a few days later, but when I got back home (2.5 hours away), it turned out that there was a problem with some of the parts used. I had to go back to a repair mechanic to fix that locally, and Dave refunded me the cost of the follow-up repair that I had to get done locally, plus we split the estimated cost of my time off work and being without car some more. Probably he lost money because he could not return the defective parts under warranty for a refund. What could have been really unpleasant experience for me turned out pretty good, considering. “We emailed after hours with some help on a 1990 Jeep--which has a long and sordid history full of adventures--and quickly got a response from Curtis (who turned out to be in sales). Long story short, Curtis was absolutely delightful and arranged for us to speak with Rich, the mechanic. First thing the next morning, we talked to Rich who had us bring the Jeep in. Right away, everyone in the shop couldn't have been more helpful and kind. Rich diagnosed the problem, worked on the problem and offered further advice. Having an older Jeep, truly takes a village and it was so lovely to find ours here at Summit Jeep. To anyone who needs to buy a new Jeep--go see Curtis. He's amazingly kind, warm, genuine, and I'm certain will treat you like family. To anyone who has a Jeep that needs special care, go see Rich. He's a gem, that knows and loves Jeeps. Thanks Curtis and Rich for keeping me smiling! You guys are the best!”

“I was passing through Brattleboro on my way back to Canada when I got a large chip in my windshield. Although it was too big to fix, Portland Glass did what they could to keep the cracks from expanding and to help me get back on the road. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. To top it all off, they didn’t charge me for the repair because the damage was unfixable without a replacement. I can’t thank them enough for getting me out of a jam. I highly recommend Portland Glass!”

“I have to reiterate a previous post: There's a reason Alan has had a thriving business for 40 years. He is an honest expert and like someone else said, always would give me the straight scoop on my Saab, --what needed to be done, - what could wait (until I had a bit more cash) etc. I trust him like family and he has never, ever let me down. I would totally drive two hours to have him work on my car, but unfortunatley I'm in Santa Fe now. When I lived in Brattleboro, I bought a car from him and he cared for it for 10 years. Again, trust him completely!”

“So I went on a road trip through New England. Loved visiting Vermont. Very beautiful state. While heading back south wrapping up my trip, about 20 miles north of Brattleboro, my car starts suffering some engine issues. I limp it into town late Sunday night and got a room. The next morning is a federal holiday and some of the places I called or visited didn't have enough staff to accommodate a drop in. I needed to be back in DC that night. These guys had a slot available for me later in the afternoon and got me in. Once the issue was diagnosed and parts ordered, they had me back on the road in short order. I did have to wait several hours for the slot in the afternoon but considering the circumstances, it's reasonable. The repair was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and courteous as well. And the bill wasn't nearly as much as I was anticipating. Good job guys.”

“I went in looking for a truck for sale and sat down with the salesman Luis Perez, Luis able to help me find exactly what I was looking for. He was knowledgeable about the trucks history and was available for questions and helped me work out several different financial options making sure I got the best deal that fit my financial needs. He spent the time explaining all necessary paperwork with me. Luis even drove the almost two hours to deliver my truck to me. Great experience and would highly recommend asking for Luis next time you are at the dealership. Highly unique to have a dealership like this provide the service they did especially delivering the truck to me.”
