“I was traveling down I91 North when my check engine light came on. I am from Washington state so I didn't know any mechanics in the area. I did a quick Google search and decided to try Sonnys. When I got there I told the mechanic Dave (the owner) what happened he took time out of what he was already working on. He diagnosed the issue and quickly got it taken care. “The convenience store has a decent selection. I’m big on the energy drinks and protein bars. ? I come in here often enough that one of the fellows who works the register recognizes me. He’s very friendly. Sometimes we’ll have a nice conversation about the weather or what have you. That’s a small thing but it’s something you don’t always get these days. My only complaint is that the gas pumps simply refuse to accept my debit card for some reason (and no, it’s not because of lack of funds or an incorrect PIN). If I want to use debit, I have to go inside. It’s not the end of the world but it can be a hassle when you’re short on time, don’t have cash, and don’t want to use credit.”

“Probably the cheapest gas in all of VT. Decent smaller convenience store. Getting in and out of the pumps can be a pain with how close they are to the corner. The hoses also don't extend, so be sure to approach with the filler cap on the correct side.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
