I also like how the app is functional, and item availability is typically very accurate! (Hannaford I’m looking directly at you girl) Staff have always been nice to me as well. One note is I’m vegan, and I’d love more vegan options/selections! The vegan Kraft Mac n cheese was great, please do bring that back!”

“I hate dealing with errands, but the (I think new) pharmacy tech at the window of CVS Colchester was so kind and friendly and helpful. I was so surprised by her friendly attitude, willingness to do an extra task for me at the last minute, and that she took the initiative to double check things and offer to reach out to my doctors office for a totally different prescription than the one I went there for. She printed the instructions for my son’s inhaler, and offered to request a refill for my other inhaler. My physician notified me today that they filled it! After going to CVS at this location for years, I am so impressed! It’s not often that you come by an employee that treats you like a person and not a burden to them. Though, I completely understand that everywhere is short staffed and it’s an extremely hard and busy job. Thank you!!”
“I work long hrs and travel and they have always worked with my DR and myself to make sure I’m ok. You can’t ask for better than that. They understand if you work and travel that it’s important to try and work through the situation to make sure you will be ok.”
“I recently experienced an agonizing, multi-week complication with Federal Express. Walgreens, acting as a third-party FedEx pick up point, was put in the middle of a royal FedEx screw up regarding a mishandled, expensive item, which was initially delivered to Walgreens.
Long story short - FedEx delivered the item to the Walgreens and two days later, picked it back up again, in error with a bunch of other packages, without advising me or Jill’s crew of the mistake. Tracking down the item and physically getting my hands back on it after several days of dealing with the incredibly inept FedEx monster (do not trust them to ship or deliver anything, but that’s for another review.) was no small feat.
The bright spot here was store manager Jill.
Throughout my intense days of frustration and torture at the hands of FedEx, she kept my spirits up, took down my phone number so that she could personally advise me when the package was back in her team’s possession, as she could tell how important finding a resolution for the FedEx fumble was to me.
The issue was finally resolved, and all the while, Jill was super positive and encouraging and classy. Never at any moment did she speak poorly of FedEx, or throw them under the bus. She just made her leadership look effortless and controlled the situation with complete professionalism and empathy.
In my honest opinion, she deserves a BIG raise from both Walgreens AND FedEx, as she proactively absorbed complaints on behalf of both organizations, and served as an excellent ambassador for Walgreens, all while covering FedEx‘s butt.
