“I had been patronizing another store where I got to know the staff there well. I was shocked to find out that that particular store had closed, and decided to go to the Essex store. Imagine my pleasure and surprise to find Garrett at the helm of the store. He had accepted a position as Manager there.

As long as I had known Garrett, I had been impressed with his leadership stance at the first store and I was able to notice that he had brought his skills into this new store.

The store was clean, the layout is good, and the flow of service is efficient. Very importantly, the staff manning the different stations were very helpful and welcoming.

I plan to continue to patronize this store because of my first experience the other day, and because I have every confidence that, under Garrett’s management, the store will do well and will work hard to ensure that the customers’ needs are delivered well.”

I was at my wits end figuring out my wedding invitations - I was running out of time, nothing online felt right, and I just wanted to design my own. The ideas kept coming but I had no idea how to execute -- this print shop *stepped* UP! Answered a million of my questions, communicated almost entirely overly email very promptly and efficiently (lifesaver for anyone who works full time), staff designer confirmed and made pre-print adjustments on design details I didn't think of, so that my vision could come to life exactly as I wanted. They were ready for pick up within a few business days and looked AMAZING at the same or even under the budget of ordering bulk invites from those fancy wedding websites (invite, addressed envelopes, detail card, vellum wrap!). “Super fast production of a 5-poster project! It came out perfectly and was very high quality. The two women staff members I dealt with were helpful and very accommodating of my needs (I wish I could remember their names -- they deserve a medal.) The work far exceeded my expectations.

My only negative is the clunky online order system, which is impossible to navigate if you have a custom-sized, multi-page order. I wasted a lot of time trying to submit my order and finally gave up and called the store, at which point they gave me an email address to submit my order and took it from there.”

“Usually I love this place! However, on this trip (Wednesday afternoon) it was much busier and messier than normal. I guess the surrounding UPS Store locations closed, and all the people who usually took their business to those locations are all compounded into this store now? The employee who ultimately helped me was a tall man with a mustache. He was fantastic. Really friendly and helpful and kind and efficient and careful not to fold or bend my color print (it was a gift certificate so I really appreciated that!). He deserves 5 stars! If I was rating this review based on the other two employees and the cleanliness, I would have taken away more than one star (other employees made no eye contact with me despite communicating with me, were quite brusque, and the shop was pretty messy when I was there), but I wanted to make sure this review was overall good, since the gentleman who did my printing was so great. Also, The UPS Store should probably give this location more payroll so they can hire to meet the increased demand that has been a result of the other stores closing. This location was swamped, lines, boxes all over the counters, just really drowning. Not their fault and I work retail, I understand the situation. But, please, help this site out and give them some more people. I've never seen it like this before, and the team looked stressed- I don't blame them!”
