“Had a great 3 nights at the Snowed Inn. They just completed an addition to the main floor with huge windows on the breakfast area. It's a very laid back vibe in the common area with homeade cookies in the afternoon, coffee and tea all day, and a good selection of wines, beers, and some small bite food options. Caroline, one of the owners, gave us the excellent advice to walk 1 minute down the hill for dinner at Liquid Arts for live open mike guitar night on Thursday. Food there was unbelievable. I didn't know I could get so excited about chili. We ended up eating there 3x in 3 days. The bed was comfortable and there is a community kitchen with ice, water, and refrigerator where you can leave your stuff. Great time..highly recommend”

“First thing I experienced was the staff. They are all wonderful and the entire time I was there, they were all so helpful and kind to me. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveler. The grounds and amenities are phenomenal. I sat at the lake front for over two hours by myself and enjoyed every moment. The room was very clean and other than not having a mini fridge to store drinks, it was perfect for me. I will definitely be back for all of my future work and personal travels. Thank you”

“I’ve been coming to the Trailside Inn for the past several years and I’m always met with clean and comfortable accommodations, tasty breakfasts (I particularly like the parfaits with perfect berries and delicious creamy Vermont yogurt), and very friendly and accommodating innkeepers. A couple of years ago when I got stuck in the parking lot due to some car trouble and couldn’t get out for dinner, Ann made me some grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!”

“Ahhhhhh what a wonderful time machine a stay at the Greenbrier Inn is. Upon reception, its easy to see why so many flock here. From the clean rooms to the jovial foyer; this is everything a cabin stay in the woods ought to be.

Our host, Stephen, was nothing less than informative, friendly, and accommodating during our trip. Breakfast was served everyday in a timely manner and was consistently delicious.

Don't forget to inquire about discount lift passes and, to anyone looking to stay here I do reccomend it; 5/5 stars.

Thank you, Stephen!!”

“The Summit Lodge in Killington offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step inside. The vibrant energy of the building is perfectly matched by the hospitality of the owner, staff, and fellow guests. O'Dwyer's Pub serves outstanding food and drinks that delight your taste buds without stretching your budget. I highly recommend this establishment year-round— for it's cleanliness and there’s always something to celebrate and enjoy at the Summit Lodge, no matter the season.”

“The hotel is quite old and could definitely use some renovations. However, the staff were attentive, friendly, and very kind throughout our stay. The only downside was that the prices of food items in the hotel shop were extremely high. On the positive side, the location is excellent — it’s very close to the slopes, which is a big advantage.”

“going off season so some stuff was closed but it was peaceful not many people. We got a regular room online got there and they let us upgrade to this amazing jacuzzi room for only 50 more as we were looking for one but said none were available online! This was just a night getaway to relax so definitely will book again ? you are not far from Rutland also so you could go into town as far as location goes but we were only there for the night so grabbed dinner. Would definitely recommend ?”

“I have stayed here a few times over the last 15 years, and it always feels like coming home. Pia is attentive and lovely, and she is so helpful with large groups. The rooms are very, very large for the price and extremely cozy. The pool is great, and the hotel is basically on the mountain. Its not as bougie as some of the more expensive hotels but thats also what makes it awesome. Great for groups, and they break down pricing per person so its quite reasonable for solo stays. Highly recommend for a low key mountain adventure.”
