Pet Care

Our family pets have been clients of Middlebury Animal Hospital for over 30 years and now even our visiting Grand dogs occasionally need local care when visiting. I unequivocally have the highest praise and regard for the folks at this facility. The Veterinarians, Techs and Administrative staff are all professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. They have all expertly helped us navigate the joys of kitty and puppyhood, provided valuable and essential guidance for rescues, and were honest, sympathetic, supportive, and compassionate when the time came to say goodbye to our beloved ones. There is a special place in heaven /universe for those who speak and care for the souls that give joy to their humans every single day.

What a homey, rustic gem. Found ourselves here on a girls day and wished we would’ve come earlier. We curled up on the couches with books and mead and sat for hours. Truly a very special place.

Haymaker Bun Company

Went for brunch based on Google reviews. The buns are definitely the star of the show here. We each ordered one to eat later in the day, but ended up eating them while we waited for our meal because they were so tempting. They were incredible. I had the OG bun, it will knock your socks off. Partner had a chocolate bun and reported a lovely chocolate flavor that was not too sweet. We had the Haymaker breakfast bowl. The homefries are the highlight of this dish and they come with a very tasty ketchup. My only not so positive was there’s no table service so during busy times there a long wait to order at the counter.

I was visiting Middlebury for a few weeks and decided to try this restaurant. It was excellent! I ended up returning many times during my vacation. My favorite dish was the Paneer Tikka. Definitely worth your time to go here. I never dined in the actual restaurant but their takeout business is great. My food was always hot when I picked it up.

Food was decent bar food. I felt that the Thai noodles were underwhelming. We had a very nice server and it was a comfortable bar atmosphere. We would go again and try different menu options as there were some that looked good as well.

The food was really good at Rosie’s, but that isn’t what made the experience so great. Danielle is the reason we had such a great meal, she was absolutely fantastic! She made sure we were taken care of and treated us like we were long time friends. Go to Rosie’s for the food for sure, but make sure you ask for Danielle!!
