Bolton Valley Resort is an awesome independent old school family mountain with great glades and trails for all types, sitting high in the Green Mountains of Vermont. It boasts the highest base elevation of any ski area in the state, offering breathtaking westerly views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks from the summit fire tower. Visitors can expect unequaled access and excellent skiing, with well-groomed trails and great bike trails in season. The ski lessons are superb, and the help with equipment is great. It is a place where a lot of people learn, though some note the chairlift can be slow. Overall, it provides a beautiful day on the mountain with short lines and is a place many look forward to returning to.

Great bike trails!! I would recommend checking the weather the week before going, as it can be really wet there! The double blacks become really hard with wet roots and rocks. Otherwise great fun! But the chairlift is really slow??
