Not only do they have wonderful food, but they also offer cooking classes, rental of the space, and they coordinate with the local school to make the kitchen available for after school cooking classes! In the freezer - we love the the coconut carrot curry soup, the Italian wedding soup and the navy bean soup. Squashy mac and cheese is also a hit in our house. I could go on and on. Their meal options are all healthier and cheaper per serving than some fast food options... Which is impressive. Classes - I've taken a couple of their classes and they are always fun and I learn a lot. The classes are well organized with great presenters!”

    “I haven't had the pleasure of visiting their store, but I certainly will once I make my way over to Hinesburg again. I contacted the owner when a family member wound up in an unfortunate situation while in Hinesburg and the owner was willing to help us out, despite not knowing us or having met us. He truly was a life saver and we would still be in an absolute predicament had it not been for him. He was friendly, and seemed like the kind of genuine person you just don't meet often nowadays. Highly recommend them as a whole, and can't wait to see there store!”

Lindy and Laurie in the deli never miss a "good morning, or how you doin today?" The pharmacy calls me when my prescriptions are ready, I never need to call in - Thanks to Matt and the team ! This is where I get my fresh flowers each week - Erin and Suzanne know what I like and always do last minute orders for me. There is no shortage of good customer service here !”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
