Stratton Mountain is a very popular mountain resort in Vermont. It is a great destination for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, with an impressive 670 acres of skiable terrain, a 2,003-foot vertical drop, and over 90 trails with plenty of off-piste options. The well-maintained trails and top-notch snowmaking system ensure quality conditions. The mountain itself has nice runs and is considered one of the best in the southern mountains. The charming base village has a cute little vibe with plenty of small shops, restaurants, dining, and shopping options, creating a fun atmosphere. The area is also dog friendly. The staff throughout the resort is very understanding, kind, efficient, chill, and courteous. This includes the helpful ticket window staff, the knowledgeable and patient teachers for group lessons, the efficient parking staff, and the exceptionally friendly, calm, and reassuring ski patrol team. The resort features several new lifts and trails from recent expansion. While crowds can vary and lines can get long on weekends, the resort manages them efficiently. It also hosts festivities like a brew fest, chili cook off, and concerts. Overall, Stratton Mountain provides a fantastic, fun, and varied experience, making guests feel comfortable, confident, and in good hands.
I bought my Ikon lift pass online and it had not shown up before I left to go snowboarding at Stratton. The staff was very understanding and printed out my pass at the ticket window.
