“I just learned that the heirloom tomatoes that I had been purchasing every week from FreshDirect (serving Long Island, NY) were sourced from here. I don’t know how they were available from February to late April (greenhouses, I expect, but they must be huge!); FD has not had them since, and I have written, tweeted, contacted them in every way possible. Outside they are seasonal—but then why were they available in winter? Wouldn’t greenhouse growing work in spring and early summer? Anyway, they are the absolute best bar none. Every delivery (and I ordered at least 5 or 6 every week, usually more—I would eat them at every meal every day if I could get them) would arrive, plastering a huge grin on my face. Dark red-purple beauties ranging in size from medium to gigantic, all perfect, all so flavorful beyond what words can describe. I wish I could show you; better yet, I wish all of you could bite into one right this moment.”

“Wonderful farm. A must do for a CSA share! A ton of fresh veggies come with their service which is really fun to design weekly meals off vegetables I may otherwise not buy out right. CSA from here has improved variety and quality of homemade meals. The pick you own is wonderful. Basically fresh herbs weekly, as many cherry red tomatoes as you can eat and my most favorite time of year--fresh edamame! An attached market for other local selections of bread and local meats.”

There is just so much in all the never ending rooms! Unfortunately prices are about $2+ more than other stores, so you pay for convenience,but they also have unique/hard to find items as well. It's just a quirky wonderland!
I bought rubber key identification holders for 40 cents! (They also make keys!) I also got a sack of soil and limited edition beer all in the same trip. I was amazed!
If it's busy parking will be a challenge as they don't have much in front.”

“2/17/24 visit: we bought delicious, fresh sushi and we had it for lunch in a nice, clean part of the store set-up for eating. They have an indoor and outdoor eating area, no frills but much appreciated!The cheese selection is spectacular!We bought some basics because the prices are so good. We bought local Robie farms sausage which was delicious. They had an amazing selection of high end Asian products, some of the nicest fish sauce I have ever seen .. great store!Excellent selection of everything; produce is huge with beautiful fruits and vegetables!Sushi!!!! So fresh and it looked amazing!Beautiful meats and a large local selection.Local honey; a shelf of local raw honey choices!And everything else that you would expect, gluten free breads and pizzas in the freezer, a whole row of pre-made foods and deserts which is really nice ...Excellent choices for Asian ingredients which I was excited to get my favorite Nishiki rice!All this and a bag of chips ... a little film industry humor, actually, the prices are excellent!Clean store.friendly staff!Free paper bags!!!”

“Amazing country store! I travel through VT a lot for work and this place will be my new go to stop for diesel and grub! The employees are very warming, kind, friendly and make you feel right at home. They have everything you need here including hot coffee and huge subs at the deli! I couldn’t believe the size of my sub and how tasty it was! I will be back for. Thanks again staff for making my experience so wonderful :) God bless”
