“BUY EVERYTHING AT JACOBS! This may be a first - reviewing a store I've never been to - but there are all kinds of firsts during a pandemic! One thing is for certain, I cannot wait for the opportunity to visit the market in person, and the family there have completely renewed my faith in humans and genuine kindness. My brother is moving to the area and our family was not able to help him due to the current conditions. I called the market to see if I could at least get a gift certificate or something to help stock his fridge as he arrives into a new state alone. Heather answered my message almost immediately and set off on a herculean effort of not only putting together a giant cart of incredible necessities and delicacies, but also delivering it. It was true customer service and hospitality - sure. So much of that has disappeared in today's world, so it was refreshing to receive such top notch service without any expectation. But beyond that it was just kind, thoughtful, and above and beyond any expectation. I wish I could shop there every day, but at least my brother can. Thank you, Heather and Jacobs Family Market! I am so grateful for you, and so excited to see you in the future! And everyone local in VT- go shop there all the time!”
“Such a cute old time country store, I'd call it a hidden gem. Outside are two old fuel pumps and has a very vintage feel. The inside is also decorated to fit the feel of the building. There's all kinds of snacks, drinks, and ice cream (creemees are a big thing here!) They also have a deli/grill that's open for breakfast and lunch.The only thing we disliked was the milkshake. It was more like chocolate milk than an oreo milkshake. The creemees were delicious though!”

This country store has a little bit of everything ( including dry goods and a liquor section), and the prices are generally reasonable. A must try are their smoked bacon ? and homemade bagels ? YUM.
If you're staying local and need to cook, they have really nice-looking meat.”

“My visit was brief but, on entering the store it appears to be well stocked with the necessary staples for the residents. There is also fuel pumps on site. My reason for being here is that it is One of Very Few Big Game Reporting Stations left in Vermont. The attendant here, a young woman, was most Helpful and Personable.”
“Best store in the area from all things deli to little. I have been going for decades for their deli options and variety of snacks with drinks. Great landing point for hikes before and after.”
“This place is amazing. Wonderful and kind people who work there and getting the prepared meals have been a life changer for my busy husband and I. We were looking for other meal services but they were either too expensive, too generic just chicken and a veg, or not local or not gluten free using low inflamatory foods. Its is so nice to just be able to warm up healthy local food with heart on a day when you're not able to cook a meal yourself. An extra bonus is when they have take home meal pop-ups from local chefs!”
“This is a really mega store. If you can't find it here I don't think you can find it anywhere! It took me a long time to get through all the aisles! I was pleasantly surprised I found VT own King Arthur flour.
I found also varieties of salad bars and edible grab-and-go and sushi. The meat department and bakery department seems like they are packed with yummy items.
The floral department is extensive. To devote an entire room to the brewery was really clever.
There are plenty of gift cards available.
All in all,I really enjoyed shopping here! Nice and clean. Plenty of self checkout stations.
I think the entrance is the only thing that prevented it from being a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. It's confusing which way to go. I like the outdoor tables outside but once you get inside you immediately are confronted with a left or right or right in the middle straight of you are at the cashier stations.”
“I just want to tell everyone how helpful one of the pharmacist was when I came in with a question. I didn’t understand what he was trying to explain to me about my prescriptions. Finally, after at least five tries, it clicked. Thanks so much for your patience.”
“Quaint little local grocery. I really enjoy the liquor store next door. Friendly staff. Limited pre-made food but the Rueben's sandwich was pretty good. Good place to stop to or from the ski slopes.”
“Always an extremely convenient place to stop for drink, chips, dip, heavy cream for fresh whipped cream after hitting up Adam’s Farm Market for strawberries, or anything else your heart desires! Good hours, extremely friendly staff, and excellent local made dog biscuits! I’ve been going here for 34 years! :-)”
“I shop at this Price Chopper at least three days a week. The staff here always says " hi, can I help you" or "did you find everything you need". Lindy and Laurie in the deli never miss a "good morning, or how you doin today?" The pharmacy calls me when my prescriptions are ready, I never need to call in - Thanks to Matt and the team ! This is where I get my fresh flowers each week - Erin and Suzanne know what I like and always do last minute orders for me. There is no shortage of good customer service here !”
