“My friend Jack bought a kangaroo from a guy at a pub because he wanted to try and ride it to try and impress his crush who lives in Derby. He asked me to help him iron his suit and prepare the saddle for him on the day of the big ride and everything was going great until we the kangaroo showed up. THis Kangaroo was a big fella. He was fighter and a real mustang type of animal and my friend Jack started getting nervous as hell. I was soothing his nerves telling him that it was the right thing to do and keeping his spirits up. Instead of riding the kangaroo to the girls house Jack put the kangaroo in his truck and planned on riding it the last mile. When the kangaroo got in the whole affair turned ugly and the kangroo messed up the truck big time so we had to wash it a couple days later. We brought the truck here and it was really good for cleaning it.”
“This is a really convenient location, full-service, and more importantly can get you in on the spot for basic services such as a tire changeout, which took about 20-30 minutes, depending on their schedule -- just call and ask. I work in the capital complex and have left my car there and they were done in a few hours for an oil change a tricky repair that they easily remedied for an extra $10 for a completely rusted out battery terminal. Know that this is a mechanics shop, so as we all know they spend the money in the shop so you can't really stay for hours. Anyway, always friendly, skilled and fair in cost.”

“The tank was very low although the delivery was scheduled I had to call to be sure I would have a delivery. The first person I spoke to seemed to be out of the country and difficult to understand. The second call was with a local person and was very helpful. A delivery was made and the driver was very helpful. The estimate of the tank was somewhat off from the actual tank reading. However all was satisfactory and the tank is full. I do commend the driver for his efficiency and helpfulness.”

“I really like the employees here. I go here a few times a week and it’s a very consistent experience. I’m not a fan of Cumberland’s farms drinks and the prices for drinks that aren’t their brand are out of control. The Company prices normal things higher to get you to buy their brand it feels like. Still this location has great employees and I will pay a little extra for great customer service!!”

“The woman who works the morning/day shift is absolutely divine. Never have I met a kinder soul. Absolutely love her and wish everything well for her.
The guy with the beard who was training the new kid with dyed hair however…something in the racist vibe. Seemingly had a hard time helping me (a visibly brown woman) and two Asian men; could not bother to answer our questions (I wanted to know if I could swap out a soda I got), but had no problem helping the white dude who wanted to buy boxes of alcohol. With the country’s political climate right now, my family and I came to Stowe to relax so it’s very sad to know that I can’t escape such treatment here.”
“Paul is the most generous and kind human I've met in this business. We were quite tired from our road trip and his professionalism, friendliness, and ready posture to help helped us through the last leg of our trip. Come get your gas and stuff here, it's worth stopping by.”
“Surprisingly good food for a gas station. Cremes are amazing as well. I always get a breakfast sandwich in the morning here. Probably the only gas station I would eat breakfast from. Great place to get gas on your way to Montpelier from Waitsfield.”

“We were on a road trip from Canada and the brakes in our car started to act up.
When we pulled up, the owner of the shop was about to leave but he stayed to help us out and adjusted the back brakes.
We were very stressed, but everyone at the shop was so kind and we were so grateful to be able to get back on the road!”
