“We had such a lovely stay here! The rooms are beautifully designed and newly renovated. Located 15 minutes from Okemo. The staff was so nice and welcoming, recommending antique stores nearby, boxing up muffins for us in the morning, storing our snowboards, and drying our boots after a really rainy day on the slopes. The food was delicious - especially the duck confit, beef tartare and baby carrots. The aesthetic is so charming. Will come back again soon!”

“Had a fantastic weekend at the Upper Pass Lodge and Magic Mountain. Comfy affordable rooms and a delicious hot breakfast served by super nice people. Easy walk to skiing and offers an elegant dinner as well. Vermont hospitality at its finest at an unpretentious ski lodge.”

“The hotel was ok but the restaurant in the Castle was phenomenal and perhaps, one of the most incredible meals I have ever eaten. Five stars for the food and the presentation. I had Beef Wellington and the steak was tender. The mushroom wine sauce was amazing and everything melted in my mouth. There were a variety of veggies and although I wanted to focus on the main dish the vegetables were delicious and couldn't be ignored. It's a long trip from Boston but worth the food and the ambiance of the original Victorian furnishings. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a meal like that.Rooms: Standard rooms and perhaps in the need of some updating.”

“We stayed 2 night on Easter weekend. The highlights were the location & the staff - these overshadow any limitations. The cons were that there's no room upkeep even at the high price point. And the lobby level (and access to the ski lift) can apparently only be accessed by the central elevators. So there's a long walk if you parked underneath your room on the south side. There are lots amenities and lot of families to keep kids happy. Overall vibe was good.Rooms: No room upkeep. Only 2 towels for a family of 2 adults and 1 toddler.Nearby activities: Excellent access to Okemo ski on the Jackson Gore side.”
