“I just had the BEST experience at the Abingdon Food City ? I was doing some grocery shopping & I'd been up all morning as my MIL has been in the hospital, so I stopped at Starbucks for coffee first. While checking out my 2 yr old spills my coffee after trying to take a sip & realizing it was HOT. The young man at the self check out Brennan was SO NICE about it (I felt TERRIBLE ?) & assured me things happen & not to worry about it as I was getting ready to leave he stops me & tells me if I go back to starbucks they would make me a new one. I went back and the barista Kylie made me one with the BEST attitude & sweetness ? it's been a really tough couple of days & this kind of customer service really turned my spirits around ? ty Brennan & abingdon food city ❤️”
“Friendly staff, good food in deli. The store is slowly getting more healthy varieties of food items, both fresh, frozen, produce. Need to add light Mayo back to the shelf items. It's been gone for over a month. Great meat and department !”

“I want to thank the employees of Dollar General that worked on January 22, 2025. You have no idea how incredibly grateful I am that you were there to accept the FedEx package I picked up the same day. I have been waiting for FedEx to deliver our dogs’ food that we cannot get locally since January 7, 2025 and somehow FedEx was able to deliver a new order placed January 17, 2025 to this location by January 22, 2025 where the AWESOME employees of this Dollar General kept it safe! You made three dogs VERY happy! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
Also, the store was VERY well maintained, I was impressed, ESPECIALLY considering all the muck outside that people must track in all day. We went in later in the afternoon and it was very nice inside!”
“Why won’t they ever answer the phone??! I wonder if I even have the right number the number . I am using the one that’s on there. It says to leave a message after the beep , rings a bunch and then says that. Sounds like a house number answering machine and they never ever ever answer.”
“Shout out to the cashier that went and got her hand held and helped during the clearance madness! I stopped at 5 different locations and this was the only one that had employees willing to help and ring up items correctly. And shout out to the awesome manager that discounted the discontinued items that wasn't ringing up right in the app! Y'all did amazing out of the Bristol VA and Abingdon locations. I had an interview at a Bristol VA location who the manager badmouthed the surrounding stores this one with some serious backlash a while back and I never thought to give this location a chance but so glad I did I hope y'all keep up the good work”

“It's Walmart. Bought a very nice bike. Their selection of bikes is unlike any other Walmart in the area. This Walmart is big. The layout of this Walmart is different than any other I've been to. I like it!”
“Upon entering this Walmart store was inviting. The employees were smiling and things were nicely organized and the bathroom? Well, I am actually doing the review bc of how super clean the bathroom was and it even smelled so good in there. Nice store!”

“Kroger has more organic products than most supermarkets in the area. Though the organic cucumbers were not fresh. Store needs to be updated. Bathroom was a disaster. I told a front end employee. When I was leaving there was a wet floor sign outside ladies room, so I assume it was addressed. Staff was friendly.”
