The Martha Washington Inn & Spa is a beautiful and historic property with magnificent, lovely grounds that transport visitors back in time. The rooms are lovely, and the service, cleanliness, and overall ambiance are top of the line, creating a very romantic setting. The hotel features a magnificent parlor and lobby, a sister restaurant on the premises, and is a gorgeous space for a wedding. Its location is excellent, situated in a great little town with very walkable, neat, and interesting historic areas. Nearby activities include the Barter Theatre across the street, along with lots of nice little eateries and eclectic shops. It is considered a must-visit in Abingdon.
Quiet, comfortable and haunted ;) … wonderful hotel. Wonderful staff and service. Real nice experience here.

Come up first time for Jan Jam!!!The Boys opening act!!!!!! Great Job not a disappointment, great vibes, some original music. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, friendly people. Do not miss this historic place.

We had the luxury king room. The room was very nice. The mattress was ok, not overly worn. Suprised there wasn't a clock or USB outlets. There were some other minor issues I won't mention, because I think it would be more due to a person's specific make up and likes/dislikes. Great location, restaurant, and amenities.
