“Donna was a friendly and laid back host. Her home is so lovely-in the best sense of the English boarding house tradition with a sweet hall-access bathroom for my accomodations. Welcoming and an easy walk to all the best attractions of Main Street and the historic district, there is convenient parking, charming outside spaces and public rooms, including a music parlor and library. Thanks to Donna's 'insider tip' I got the chance to hear some amazing live music and hang out with a great group of local folks. After a long, full summer's day my guest room was cool and my bed comfortable. I brought back a sweet treat from the Tavern and settled in with a good book on the private balcony adjacent to my room. What an enjoyable stay and wonderful opportunity to support a local business owner!”
“My husband and I have just returned home after visiting The Martha for Valentines weekend and we LOVED every minute of our visit!! We attended the Valentines High Tea and it was EXCEPTIONAL from the service to the food to the piano playing. We had dinner at Sisters which was one of the best experiences we have ever had the food and service was phenomenal and Breakfast each morning was outstanding! We honestly cannot say enough good things about The Martha. The staff were fantastic as were the most amazing people we had the pleasure of meeting during our visit. Our room was beyond elegant and just beautiful. We loved the history of the place it really makes you feel like you are stepping back in time to the 18th Century. We are already planning a trip back !!”

“Wasn't too busy, so had plenty of parking space for the 26' uhaul with car hauler. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was better than expected with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy!”
“I stay at a whole lot of hotels and this Holiday Inn Express is by far my favorite. The service is always top notch, the rooms are clean and updated, the place has TWO elevators (something you don't fully appreciate until you stay at several hotels back to back with only 1 elevator), the fitness room is huge and has a full dumbbell rack, there's plenty of well lit parking, and you can walk to several restaurants and a grocery store. But honestly the service is what sells it for me. I wish every Holiday Inn was like this one. Oh and you can watch deer in the field in the morning and evening.”
“This is the perfect, no frills motel, for getting sleep. No pool, no gym, no breakfast, no toiletries. Just a clean room with clean bedding. Nice host, quiet location. My second time there. A value for about 80.00”
