“I love stopping here on my travels. I was a little confused about paying a quarter to use the restroom. I never have cash on me, when I asked the cashier if there was any way I could use it and then add it to my purchase with my credit card, they offered me a quarter instead. I work in public and restrooms every where can be outrageously disgusting because being used throughout the day. However, there was toilet paper on the floor, which is common, but it was clean enough to use. The staff were very friendly, the food is amazing and hot and fresh every time I stop here.”

Happens I did not so she asked permission to find them for me!! 3 other cashiers stepped up to ensure other customers didn't have to wait while we ran about finding my missing items. “I absolutely LOVE ALDI!!! Everything that I have gotten there has been amazing. My top favorite is the bakery items. The seasonal little pumpkin cream cheese muffins are out of this world. I also got the best live money tree there for only 10$ . I totally recommend ALDI!!! Bring your own bag and quarter though.”

“Kroger on Arch Avenue has been a stable on the east side of the City of Waynesboro for many many years. Recently, it seems they have done subtle changes to the store and layout. There is a great amount of parking along with a small gas and convenience store in the parking lot. I do think they could use more employees on the the floor but there a couple employees that have been here for years and always available if you need help. Anytime, I'm on this side of town, I use this Krogers.”
“Really good chicken sandwich. Also like the chicken salad sandwich. Is currently decorated for the fall, looking very fancy. There is also a broad selection of other goods, ranging from drinks and snacks, to engine oil and flashlights. Fresh coffee every morning. Also live bait. A good place to go if you need to grab a hot drink or some lunch.
I may be slightly biased tho. :]”
“I was glad to see someone is keeping this place going. They have made many upgrades inside and there is a decent inventory for such a small space. I do like the old country stores still open and updateds can take away the old charm but on the other hand it is necessary for modern transactions etc. While I do love a old worn counter from before I was born I also appreciate the fact that it doesn't always work that way. This is a small but truly convenient store that is worth a stop. They are still getting the place fully functional it appears but no worries with transactions and the lady behind the counter was very pleasant. I was pleased at what they are doing by keeping this old service station which once had a single bay for automotive work and a couple gas pumps going still today. It has been several business over the years and of course some were better than others. I wish them the best in what they are doing and hope they are successful. I'll be back.”

“What a great little grocery store in Crozet. The prices may be a little higher because it’s Mom and Pop, but well worth it for the fresh fruit and gourmet food items (Nightingale ice cream bars for the win!!!) as well as your regular everyday items. If you are out in that area and need things, it’s very convenient. I thoroughly enjoyed an orange watermelon that I had from there this summer. It was so sweet and juicy and I’m sad that I didn’t get more.”

I recommend everyone to try this place out their sandwiches and fresh bread made daily is amazing! I had the Italian and she had the Wessex!!! 10 stars on a 5 star scale!! “It's a Fantastic grocery store with many great deals all posted in places where everyone can see them. Meat is terrific and price very competitively. Store brand is very good too! They give money off for gas at their station right in front of the store! 1/12/2027 Still an Awesome store. I just got my RSV shot there. Everyone in the store is s pleasant and friendly. I LOVE MARTIN'S!”

They always greet you when you walk in an me if they are busy when someone goes to check out there's always an employee coming to check you out within minutes. “There’s a manager at the Waynesboro location named Donna. She’s kind and she’s patient and she’s helpful. I came across four different employees that all gave me reasons why they were unable to assist me in getting some ink for my printer so close to closing time Donna, who was helping multiple people told me if I went back to the electronics. She would be back there to help me in just a few minutes when she finished helping whoever she was helping upfront, she made it happen. She got me the ink and she did it with a smile and she did it without an attitude and she did it right there at closing. They need more like her. She didn’t make me feel like I was bothering her because it was 15 minutes till closing time and then I was a problem. She did not make me feel that way she was helpful. She helped me with my problem of not having any ink. Thank you, Donna.”

“Patrick Brothers has been here for many many years. It has been through many many names. The locals who live here always will call it Smalls store. It is an iconic landmark. It has handicap parking and handicap accessibility. They have recently opened the old dairy aisle on the weekends. They serve a variety of fish, shrimp, hush puppies, and some of the best ice cream made with real cream. The strawberry ice cream I think is the best. It is also where all of the locals meet in the morning and have their coffee. Traditionally it is the meeting place of all the locals. That's where you can find out any information on anybody from the locals.”
