“My family is high engery all times of day, and for coming into their store for snacks and caffeine at 9 am, the women there was very nice and polite, putting up with our fun. Seems like she has some regulars there as she new names of people coming in. The customers were also nice, just a good group of people. And they had all of my favorite snacks and drinks in the small store. Very pleased.
Also very clean bathrooms!

“I rely on this store, and am glad it's here. It's something. I used to live in Charlottesville and had access to several grocery stores, like Aldi, Kroger, Trader Joe's, Lidl (RIP), and Whole Foods. Here, however, there are very few options. Food Lion is okay, but discounts are rare and spontaneously placed. I once ordered pick up groceries and had to go in after pickup because the teenager who shops for you has no idea where things are, and just says they're not it stock. There's no day-old bakery rack or produce seconds, and the prices are high! As an introvert, I prefer self-checkout, but that's not available here. The staff is helpful, but the organization itself seems like a profit-driven monopoly in this area. I've had a few interactions with the manager and she seems top-notch. The stores in Mad Heights and Lovingston are both premium Food Lions that have hot bars and extended produce selection. This one, while conveniently located for those who live here in the in-between, doesn't have those. Like I said at the beginning, not bad, but comparatively lacking. Don't bother with online shopping here, they're not doing it right. I miss Kroger a lot.”
“I stopped in this Food Lion to get some adult beverages. This particular store is stocked with just about any food item that anyone could possibly need. The prices are fair and the staff are friendly. The men's restroom is clean considering how much it gets used but the toilet paper is a little on the rough side. I highly recommend this store.”
